dr case was wonderful. explained everything and made me feel comfortable with having surgery. his nurses were awesome too!!

I was scheduled for a CT scan only to find out my insurance denied it the first time. They sent a second request in to the insurance and it was approved. The staff went out of there way to get this approved. Thank you

I was a patient with Crohns disease since 1993 at Mt Nittany Medical Center. For reason beyond my comprehension, Dr. Chase refused to give me an office. appointment. I met with his PA a few times and found that she made a mistake of not following on blood test results and consequently did not make necessary changes in medication. She was also a bully and unpleasant to deal with.

I have seen Dr. Case on several occasions for my reflux. He took the time to personally call me on the phone the day after my procedure to ensure I was okay. (I had been having trouble swallowing and was very concerned). He spoke with my husband and updated him on my condition which I really appreciated because I was very drowsy after my endoscopy and did not remember much afterwards. Overall, Dr. Case is extrememly caring and thorough as a physician. I am honored to have him as my doctor.

I was treated by Dr. Case over the last year for Crohn's Disease. While he was nice, and his staff is great, (the receptionists go above and beyond what is expected of them!) there were a few things worth mentioning. He takes notes on his laptop while with you. This means everything gets transcribed, but seriously limits the amount of personal contact/ eye contact he makes. I never felt totally satisfied that he was listening to my concerns. Additionally, he apparently did not review my medical record thoroughly prior to treating me, because he prescribed a course of treatment (Remicade) for which I had one dose of years prior (you absolutely CAN NOT restart this drug) As a result, I had a serious Anaphylaxis. Following this incident, Dr. Case even suggested I try a second round of Remicade but with being pre-treated with Benadryl. Despite my serious reaction, he apparently did not re-examine my medical record to make sure I had not had Remicade prior to this infusion. Thankfully, I… did not do a second treatment, but was disappointed by Dr. Case's negligence on this issue.
