Dr. Dustin Todd Gayheart, MD

Have to push him to check things after surgery. Doesn’t seem to have any compassion, if he does, it does not show. In office after surgery, my excruciating pain was dismissed, which landed me back in ER twice, another hospital admission and another surgery

I had a cystoscopy done today and because I have severe anxiety, I was very nervous and tense. I’ve never had any procedures done other than a tonsillectomy, so I was very scared about being awake for this. I had been upset on and off leading up to my appointment with Dr. Gayheart. My stomach was in knots. I told him my issues, and he was very attentive to my needs. The procedure was uncomfortable and a little painful, but it didn’t last long at all. Less than a minute. He did what he could to ease my nerves. He let me know everything he was about to do before he did it and he answered any questions I had. He displayed the same level of professionalism and care in the previous appointment I had with him, prior to my procedure. Once again, listening to my symptoms and statements without interrupting or criticizing. With both appointments, I didn’t have to wait long. He is very kind. I came to him based off a referral from a friend and I am so glad I did. I would HIGHLY recommend him to… anyone. He’s one of the best doctors I’ve ever had.

Dr. Gayheart has an excellent bedside manner, listens well, is calm and reassuring. Seems very knowledgeable. Would see again if needed and would recommend to family/friends.
