I was able to she the doctor the same day I called due to a problem with my eye. The staff was very nice and helpful. Dr. McKnight took his time and made sure everything was good before I left. I appreciated the care and time given and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him!

First I will say I have not met Dr. McKnight but I arranged for cataract surgeries for my 85 yr. old mother. I believe Dr. McKnight is fine and I would recommend him. However, the office seems to have one model of service that they can't adapt to a patient with dementia. There is a complicated schedule of various eye drops to take before and after surgery. The eye drops are very expensive. My mother can't comply with the eye drop schedule and I told them this from the beginning, multiple times. The first time she got a shot of anti-inflamatory med after surgery that worked well though previous to surgery their directions over the phone were confusing and contradictory to me. Part of the time I didn't know whether to buy the drugs or not. I ended up buying a really expensive antibiotic eye drop that she didn't need and we could not return. Her medicare doesn't pay for the drugs either. For the second eye, they didn't give the shot and my mother's eye was swollen for her eye exam a… week later. I ended up buying a steroidal eye drop that I hope helps it. I got better explanations after talking with her regular eye doctor. I don't live with her and can't make sure she takes her meds unless they fit in her automatic pill box. I can't call and remind her as she doesn't answer the phone. She has a companion part of the time who can only help so much. They may have a well oiled machine but if your case doesn't fit their model, don't go there.

Excellent, accurate and precise patient care. Beyond excellent. Both eyes done fir cataract surgery in two weeks. I would recommend people look no further and visit this doctor; and he is a genuine persona with a personal follow up phone call. When was the last time anyone ever did that following surgery - both times? The entire team runs like a well oiled machine. Period.
