I had a great experience with Dr. Reid & the whole team. I am a trans man and needed a mastectomy. I feel like I got the best care possible. My nurse, Mary, was wonderful and responsive when I had questions after my surgery. Dr. Reid is both an expert surgeon & an artist. I feel like I had a very easy recovery and I'm very happy with my results.

There are no words to describe my experience with Dr Reid at Restora Austin. Tummy Tuck, muscle repair and 360 Liposuction. From my very first consultation, I felt comfortable and understood. Dr. Reid took the time to listen to my concerns and goals, and patiently explained the entire procedure, including potential risks and recovery expectations. Dr. Reid is very detail oriented and so precise. His bedside manner and humor are my personal favorites about him. The surgery itself was a success beyond my wildest dreams. I was up walking the morning after surgery, no pain and no complications. At six weeks my scar is flat, thin and can be hidden under a string bikini bottom! What more could I ask for? I received a breast reduction with Dr. Reid in November 2024. Prior to surgery, I was in physical therapy for 2 years and in constant pain due to the size of my breasts. I knew I needed a breast reduction, but was too afraid to commit. I heard about Dr. Reid from a family member who received a breast reduction from him and had a lovely experience. From the first meeting to my last post op, the staff at Restora have been incredible. I interviewed a few surgeons before choosing Restora, and Dr. Reid was the only surgeon who asked me what size I wanted to be. This meant a lot to me as I had fears of being too small. My nurse, Katelyn, was wonderful and put up with all my neurotic questions and did so very kindly. I plan to continue using Dr. Reid and Restora as I do more procedures. Cannot recommend them enough!

I have been a patient of Dr Reid’s for 11 years. Here this past month I underwent an abdominoplasty 360 and could not be more pleased with the results. Dr Reid is truly gifted. The whole process was very smooth and someone from the staff is always available for any questions I have had. The facility is gorgeous, new and state of the art. The nurses and staff are knowledgeable, kind and courteous. Dr Reid has an aesthetic eye that leads to the best results. He is skilled and meticulous. Every part of the process was explained. Pain was minimal. My results were even better than expected. Would recommend him with highest recommendation. He’s amazing!

I am now two months out from my Tummy Tuck 360 with liposuction with Dr. Reid at Restora Austin. I initially consulted with Dr. Reid regarding liposuction on my abdomen but he recommended the tummy tuck for my particular situation. While the recovery has been tough at times, he and his staff have been available for any questions or concerns and did an excellent job of making me feel comfortable along the way. Dr. Dustin Reid performed my eye lid surgery and did such a beautiful job. I still look like myself. He listened and he cared. I heard about Dr. Reid through my friend who had her eye lid surgery with him as well. I highly recommend this plastic surgeon. The results speak for themselves.

I am going to try and fit all the WONDERFUL things about Dr. Reid into a decently sized review, but if you need one word to describe Dr. Reid it would be MAGICAL! If you are searching and researching (as I did) for the best plastic surgeon, book your consultation with Dr. Reid! Consultation / Pre-Operation: My consultation was for a tummy tuck due to pregnancy, weight gain/loss, and an umbilical hernia. Roxy was my patient coordinator and is the BEST. She walked me through the entire process, and literally answered question after question (and I had many). So very thankful for her guidance. For my consultation, I met with Dr. Reid’s nurse Kendra first, and she is just AMAZING. Each person I encountered was wonderful, but Kendra was my nurse, and I just can’t say enough good things about her! I then met with Dr. Reid, and I knew immediately when Dr. Reid walked into my consultation, he was going to be my plastic surgeon. His bedside manner is SO wonderful. Dr. Reid is personable,… compassionate, caring, listens to your goals, concerns, and will answer any questions you have. He was compassionately honest about my results, and what I could/should expect. Surgery/Post Operation: For my personal goals, we decided on a tummy tuck with lateral suctioning (liposuction to the hip area). Y’ALL! I cannot even put into words how FANTASTIC my results are! I am now 7 weeks post operation, and everything I envisioned, Dr. Reid delivered! My scar is pencil thin, and once I complete scar treatment therapy, and heal over time you won’t even be able to see my scar! There is a reason Dr. Reid has rave reviews across multiple outlets. His work, credentials, and caring nature make him THE top choice for which ever procedure you are seeking. Of course, please do your research, but I can't stress enough, and I promise you Dr. Reid will be your top choice!

Prior to choosing Dr.Reid to perform my breast augmentation and tummy tuck 360, I met with 5 other surgeons. All clearly qualified to do the work but didn't feel like the right fit for me. I inquired with Restora and spoke with Roxy. First off, SHE IS AMAZING and as the first point of contact made me feel supported and assured. She spoke with such warmth and compassion, asked GREAT questions to better understand what I want, and overall just an incredibly easy person to talk to and open up. All the nurses (shout out to Katelyn) were so supportive, sweet, and fun! They really made the entire process that much easier and less frightening!  Dr. Reid is literally my hero. The moment he walked into the room, I knew he was the one. He sat and just chatted with me first about life before diving into the consultation. He has wonderful bedside manner and handled my concerns with dignity and grace. Unlike other surgeons, who only spoke about what they couldn't do, he really focused on what he… was able to do and was honest about the results I could expect. I felt so at ease and comfortable with him, I felt confident enough to point out other areas of concern. Leading up to the day of surgery, the surgery itself, and afterward was first class all the way. They're incredibly thorough with providing documentation, next steps, what to expect. Everything. They left no stone unturned. My recovery process was swift and easy (and I have a toddler at home!). I'm 8-weeks post-op and guys, it's like Christmas every morning. My entire abdomen and back are contouring more and more every day and my breast augmentation is perfection. If I ever have to get work done again I would go back to Dr.Reid in a heartbeat. He's a gem, yall!

Dr. Reid at Restora Austin Plastic Surgery Wow!! Where do I start?! I knew I wanted to have a breast augmentation after having kids and breast feeding. I wanted a full, natural look-just enough to compliment my petite, athletic build. I would say I’m on the more cautious side when it comes to my health, so having an elective surgery made me nervous to say the least. I started researching about a year and half before ever actually having my surgery. Dr. Reid was the third out of five Austin doctors that I did a consultation with. Truthfully, I had almost given up after meeting with the two doctors before Dr. Reid and quickly realized I never needed to meet with the two doctors after him. After coming to his office, meeting his team, and, of course, meeting him it was a no-brainer! I knew the minute I left their office that he was “the one.” They truly have a one of a kind practice-from the welcoming and comfortable vibe of the office, the knowledgeable, caring, and responsive team, and… Dr. Reid's professional approach while also being personable and down to earth at the same time-sets Dr. Reid and his team apart from (and far above) anyone else. I knew I was in the BEST hands from day one and never looked back. I felt like my surgery day could not get here fast enough! The whole process from start to this point could not have gone more perfectly-and he nailed the look I was going for! Dr. Reid is brilliant at what he does and I could not be more thankful to have found him and the Restora Austin Plastic Surgery team!

I am a transgender. Female to male. I spent two years researching surgeons for my top surgery simply because, this was going to be the biggest, permanent change I have ever made to my body. It took two years for me to come across Dr Reid at Restora Austin, and I wouldn’t have been happier to have spent this much time finding the absolute best surgeon for my surgery. My biggest dysphoria was my breasts so going into this my anxiety was through the roof. Once I walked in the door for my consult, I immediately felt a sense of relief simply from how welcoming the staff were. The staff were completely respectful of preferred pronouns and name as well! My consult with Dr Reid and my nurse was absolutely astounding to say the least. They both respected my privacy and anxiety when it came to the examination to find out what exact surgery would be best for me. Going into the consult I knew I wanted periareolar simply because I did not want the long scars that were associated with double… incision, but I kept an open mind because I knew regardless of my wants and wishes, you simply have to be a candidate (size and nipple location) for peri areolar. Dr Reid explained the pros and cons of both periareolar and double incision, explaining I was a candidate of both and decision was up to me. I was on the fence at this point, my anxiety was going crazy and I was worried if I would make the right decision for me. Dr Reid and his nurse stepped out and discussed a few things and came back in with the conclusion that, periareolar would be best for me simply because of the worry about the long scars with double incision and with the reassurance that he would everything he possibly could to prevent the cons of periareolar. And that’s exactly what he did! My surgery went amazing and I couldn’t be any happier with my results! He even took more time than initially planned to perfect his work by doing a little more liposuction. When I tell you this is the best surgeon around, this is the best surgeon around and he has the BEST team to accompany him! I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend this surgeon for any transgenders seeking top surgery! Thank you Dr Reid for changing my life forever!
