Dr Milner was AWFUL and absolutely REFUSED to listen to me or even address the topic of my visit! She wasted my entire visit rambling on & on about a completely different topic. I tried getting us back on task multiple times for the gynecological problem I was experiencing, but she refused. Dr Milner also lied and said there weren’t any tests she could do, plus said that SHE didn’t want me stopping my BC because SHE didn’t want me getting pregnant! EXCUSE ME…?! Ewww! When I firmly insisted that I wanted to use what was left of that day’s visit to talk about my actual problem, she snapped at me “This won’t work!” and blamed ME and acted like I was the problem! After I left, she falsified my medical records & made an incorrect/falsified referral to another Dr for something I don’t even have. Absolute lack of professionalism & care. I tried reporting it to her office but it doesn’t seem like they care. Avoid this Dr & this office.

While I don't doubt that she knows her stuff, her bedside manner is terrible. She is very judgmental and tries to use guilt to get you to do things that she wants you to do instead of working with you on something that you can actually accomplish or fit in your schedule. I was in a very tough situation (where I was working 60h a week, trying to sell my house, didn't know when or where I would be moving right before my delivery, and more!) so I was stressed and had no time. She was very negative about my weight gain (~30 lbs at 35 weeks) despite the high amounts of stress, tried to guilt me into giving up even more of my sleep to walk in the mornings (which while good isn't really an option when you are already getting 5h or less), and was generally unwilling to come up with compromises or solutions that would actually fit into my unfortunate situation. She also constantly responds in a demeaning tone with "that is your choice" when she dissaproves of whatever you say you need to do. It… wasn't my choice to not find a job in 8 months, it's not really a choice when you have to pick between having nowhere to live and no income or moving cross country in your last month so that you can have an income to support your baby. All in all, I would say that I always left my appointments with her angry and feeling even more stressed than I did going into them. The other OBs at her practice are better at framing problems and working with you to find solutions. They can give you their opinions without coming across as judgmental or superior and will offer to work with you to find compromises or solutions that actually work for your family. Her blurb on the practice website says that she brings empathy to the practice, but I found this to be the opposite of my experience. If possible, avoid seeing her more than once in your rotation. You'll be happier for it.
