Dr. Dwalia Sherree South, MD

I have not health insurance, so have to pay out of pocket to see a doctor. I had been going to the free clinic in town, but its only open once a week, and its extremely hard to get them on the phone to schedule an appointment, so I decided to try Dr. South, who I have been told is a great doctor, and bases fees on income. I visited her in the Ripley office and told her all my symptoms and diagnoses and what medications the other provider had me on. I asked her if I could possible try a different medication for one of my diagnoses and she allowed me to do this - she also gave me some medication to aid in weight loss when I inquired about it. She is very thorough, she is extremely personable, and very knowledgeable. I was very impressed with her, and I am delighted to be her new patient!

I have been a patient of Dr. South for several years and I know that she is a good primary care physician. If she sees that you need further care, she will send you to a proven specialist.
