Dr. Dwayne Anderson, MD

Dr. Anderson could not have been any finer a physician. The procedure he performed was done to perfection, exactly as described. His professionalism, kind supportive care and sensitivity were outstanding. Staff was helpful and went out of the way to be kind and thoughtful...as well as very efficient. All this as well as a charming, delightful person. What more can one ask for, especially at such a difficult and anxious time.

I had to go back and forth through my spine doctor and Dr. Anserson to finally get one of them to give me sediation or relaxation medication to withstand a lumbar myleogram. My spine doctor told me straight from his mouth in front of my husband that I would have an IV and a mild sedation when I arrived. Dr Anderson did agree, to finally administer. However in the middle of the myeleogram he hit a nerve that sent electric shock through my body and made my right leg fly in the air out of my control!!! He then questioned me about who told me about the sedation, while he was adminstering dye into my spine, telling me I probably did not need it. He had to bring it up again, I did need it or I could not have stood the procedure. Once an M.D. makes a choice to administer a relaxation medication, he should not re visit the subject, during the proceedure!!!! And when a spine doctor tells you to expect one they need to order it. I am a grown women and they are not a GOD and any better than me,… We are all human. I know my limitations with pain, it is my body, not the doctor's body. Only I can judge my pain measurement. I will not stand for it. Doctors are not to look down on their patients. Their patients are what pays their monthly income. If the did not have patients, they would have no practice.
