I love the care that this practice gives me. They listen to me and ask me lots of questions. They don't take any of my concerns lightly.

Dr. DeRisi is an incredible surgeon with the most amazing bedside manner. He was my second opinion. I went to another well known, highly respected cancer hospital for my first opinion. I felt rushed and didn’t feel completely confident with the first opinion. I wanted a second opinion so I saw Dr. DeRisi. When I first met him he put me at ease and explained my options to me. He made me feel like I mattered and took the time to answer my questions without making me feel rushed. He did my surgery and everything went smoothly. He took the time to speak my husband afterwards to put his mind at ease and he called me the next day to make sure I was doing ok. I would highly recommend Dr. DeRisi.

In the midst of this Corona Virus I had a situation which caused me alarm. Dr. De Risi had been my physician for a number of years and I explained the issue to his staff and was very surprised to get a Tele-Medicine appointment with the doctor. He advised me on what to do and as usual his directive led to a positive outcome. I cannot explain enough how competent, skillful, resourceful and sensitive this physician is. Glad that the charges were dropped against the doctor, but I should have been told that he had been arrested the week before my surgery. Not a good time to be going under the knife with someone. His partner was very helpful with the multiple complications I experienced after the surgery. One of the nurses -- think her name is Donna -- was not at all -- extremely rude. If you can't at least pretend you care, you shouldn't be involved in patient care.

Dr DeRisi was great in how he explained everything, and treated my DCIS. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone with a breast health need.

Dr DeRisi had performed a lumpectomy on my Sister in Law a few years ago, thanks to his skill and diligence she remains cancer free . This Physician is thorough and caring , his office staff is friendly and knowledgeable with insurance issues, I recommend this Surgeon highly!
