Dr. Dwight Lee Lindholm, MD

Dr. Lindholm referred to my son as "mentally retarded". This term is no longer used. He even gave me handouts which referred to the fact that today's terminology is "intellectually disable". He should know better, but offended my son instead. His office staff is the worst! They do not return phone calls! They are rude! Worst office staff I have ever dealt with in 30 years of raising kids!

This doctor has been my sons doctor since he was 4 months old and he is now 27, we had to leave him for a couple years and I called crying and he found out he could take him back with the kind of insurance my son had. I told Dr. Lindholm he was going to be Ryan's doctor for ever and I got my wish he is so dedicated to his patients and my son was not an easy patient to doctor but we are on the right track now. Thanks Dr. Lindholm I don't know what I would do without you. Natasha

I do appreciate the care my son receives I have to admit waiting for as long as 2 hrs past appoint time to see him is ridiculous. The staff could at least call and let you have the option of rescheduling if he is running that far behind. My son also has hyperactivity issues waiting makes these appointments excruciating!

I met Dr Lindholm in the hospital and continued care of our children with him for 15yrs. I recommend him to all family and friends. He is kind and shows great respect to patients and parents alike. He is a true clinician. He listens to your input and never discounts your fears.

Dr. Lindholm is an excellent doctor. He cares for all of my children, and has helped decrease my daughter's migraines. When she had brain pressure issues , he was able to resolve them by insertion of a shunt in her Dandy Walker cyst .he is very through and a caring physician.

The wait is long but he is thorough and he will get the diagnosis right. The smartest man we have met. Since we see him frequently to monitor our daughters condition, we have asked the nurse to call us when it appears he is ready for us, she always does this for us and we have no wait at all. Our daughter had seen three dozen doctors, several suggesting she was fainting for attention. We were at a loss until he explained that her HR and BP were rising and dropping when she stood. Finally we had an explanation that made since. He has doctored her for five years, requiring a complicated regimen of prescriptions. But he has also recommended supplements, dietary changes, and particularly exercises. He is all about treating the entire body, making lifestyle changes as well as the classic medical treatments. He will do all he can to save the cost of the ER. We have met him at his office many times at night when most doctor offices are closed. We went to MAYO Clinic for a second opinion but… found we got the most comprehensive care from DR. Lindholm.

Dr. Lindholm is a great doctor. However he needs to teach his office staff to have a little more respect for patients families and other places of care within the community.. Heard two of the office staff discussing how bad one of the hospitals in town is etc. Called and canceled appt to only get a no show fee when they forget to write it down. I waited over three hours with a special needs kid because they forgot to call me and let me know the doctor was behind on the appt. Ruded staff I have EVER had contact with. IF there were more choices here in wichita I would go elsewhere. Thinking of making the trip to KC for better care.

I have gone to dwight for quite some time, and he is one of the best I have seen yet.
