Dr. Dwight Mosley, MD

My mother was with a different pain management doctor for 15 yrs prior to coming here. Unfortunately, her previous doctor retired. Needless to say mom was on a high dose of pain medication for 5 times a day. Dr. Mosley reduced her medication down to 4 a day citing it was against the law to give her the 5 a day due to CDC guidelines. This information was false. Mom had a gastric bypass which means her body burns the medication rapidly. She also had surgery on T11 down to her tailbone. Then another surgery on her neck for cervical stenosis from C2 to C9. Mom was in extreme pain and Mosley didn't give 2 cents about my mom health nor her quality of life. She dramatically went down hill coming to this practice. Mom also ran out of her medication 4 days early due to severe pain. She had to be hospitalized and they said her pain was NOT well controlled. During this time in the hospital they placed her on p******* and D******* around the clock.They kept her until her next refill was due. Mom… complained many times to the doctor as well as his assistant and no one was willing to put her back on her 5 a day. Her quality of life dimished greatly she was no longer able to walk short distance she wasn't able to go to the store. She wasn't able to keep with minor chores inside the house. She was chronically bed ridden in severe pain. She became severely depressed because of all the chronic pain she was in. The staff told mom to eat eatable gummies to help her manage the pain. Which it didn't do anything for her. Her list of pain was her arms neck back head fingers toes and legs etc. When she was on 5 a day she was able function go to the store sit and plant her flowers walk short distance with a rolator and was able to sit up and have conversations. They did offer mom injections and nerv ablations. However, mom didn't want to get them because she was told in the past due the severity of her condition it wouldn't help treat what was going on. Dr. Mosley wasn't able to guarantee the nerv ablation wouldn't reroute itself somewhere else therefore mom was scared that she wouldn't be able to handle more pain anywhere else on her body. Mom was tired of being experimented on and didn't want to have more surgeries or cuttings of any sort. This office is insensitive of elderly people. Many times older people fall sick due to their weakend immune system. There should be other options such as zoom to accommodate appointments. There were also a few times my mom fell sick and these people refused to do zoom with her. In fact they suggested i place mom in palliative care. I am not sure if mom was treated poorly or discriminated against due to her having Medicare and Medicaid for insurance. I would NOT recommend Dr. Mosley nor this practice to anyone suffering through chronic pain. Please run to another place if you truly love the person you are caring for they deserve the utmost respect dignity and treatment. In closing, mom passed away Feb 21, 2025 i didn't receive any condolences from this practice. That shows how much they care for their patients. RIH Mom i will continue to tell your story so hopefully it will open eyes for others to see there is a major problem that's not taken seriously. Definitely a lack of empathy when it comes to patients care and needs.

Unfortunately, I was dismissed over a year & half ago. I’ve been in pain and agony since then. When CPS changed hands to Capitol Pain Institute, they claimed I had tested positive for a neurobuphorene or something like that. I most definitely didn’t have any such thing in my system at all. Someone in the lab messed it up big time. I never took anything except what I was prescribed! I swear to that! I am allergic to way too many meds to try something different. Plus, I absolutely abided by my pain contract! I would have never wanted to ruin anything with them that would get me dismissed. Sadly, I was dismissed. I was extremely shocked! I cried all the way home that day. I just couldn’t believe it. I am so sure the lab made a HUGE mistake that cost me my doctor. He was a nice doctor who I enjoyed talking to. And he tried different approaches to my care in which included injections and nerve burning, along with some medication. I miss him greatly and wish they would have tested me again… to show I didn’t have it in my system! I am worse and in agonizing pain now.

I have been seeing Dr. Mosely for about 3 years.I have always found him caring and insightful. He genuinely has my best interest above all. His staff is extremely kind and appointments are always on time. The nurse practitioners are some of the best I have ever been around. This is truly a well run, top notch and efficient medical practice.

Was referred to Dr. Mosley by a neurosurgeon after spending 4 days in a hospital. It was several weeks before I could be seen by Dr. Mosley. When I finally saw him he knew nothing about my case and reached out to the referring Dr. only as I was sitting in his operatory. I was given a prescription for a 30 day supply of an opioid and was told to come back in 3 weeks! No thank you! So very disappointing that yet another doctor cares more about getting money than treating the patient!
