Dr. Dwight Allen Yoder, MD

Been seeing him for 6 years for all 3 of my children. He decided today at my 5 year old son’s wellness visit to berate me for taking my kids to Urgent Care. Scolds me like I’m stealing money from him or something. Incredibly rude and demeaning. Tells me that his practice makes no money off of me (mind you our insurance is BCBS) and that I just go to Urgent Care for the medicine. I was shocked that a pediatrician would speak to a patient like that. I tried to explain the reasons why we go to Urgent Care but oh no he couldn’t hear all that. Had to dismiss me like I was some kind of child. The appointment ended with me taking my son and saying to him that we would never need anything from him again because we would never be back. Now instead of keeping 3 paying customers, you lost 3 paying customers! Good luck keeping your practice afloat!

My child was going to this doctor from newborn to one year’s old. Dr. Yoder never took the time to actually examine any concerns I had with my child, instead he just went off what the nurses and PA said. I took my child to him for three months straight because her hair was coming and all he would say is that it’s normal baby hair while it was coming out in patches. On the third visit for her hair he finally decided to say it was eczema. I took my child to a different doctor and come to find out she had a fungus infection on her scalp that required medicated shampoo as well as an oral medicine to cure the fungus. Since Dr. Yoder did not take the time to look at her hair and scalp, it caused all of her hair to fall out.

he speaks French and Chinese, I speak French so it was good communication. he encourages breastfeeding

My son and daughter love them. I can get in and out fast and they make them feel welcome, when they don't feel good it's wonderfull.

This doctor is a waste of time, I took my daughter numerous times bc of sickness only for him to keep telling me she would get better I knew this wasn't the case so I took her to URGENT CARE where they later sent me too the hospital bc my daughter had RSV and who knows for how long. Letting him remain my daughters doctor could've been very dangerous

I will put this as simple as i can. Dont waste your time with this dr he will tell you its nothing and not to worry every time and god forbid you ask for a referral because he will try to make you feel like crap and will NOT give you one. so please do yourself and your child a favor find someone who will really help your child because your childs health is very important and a real dr will see that.

My grandson who is now 13months was very sick at about 8 months . I take him to a private pay doctor who diagnosed him with double ear infection. So when I take him in for 9 month check up I let the nurse know this. Well goodness I committed a sin because yoder all high and mighty gets in my face trying to make me feel intimidated by telling me I was wrong for doing that. he almost got slapped but I thought better of it and held my tongue and my hand. My grand daughter was misdiagnosed by this man and had to be hospitalized . And he told their great grandmother it was okay for a child's temp to get as high as 104 or 105 and if this caused seizures it was okay. Wrong... There is plenty more but today I'm done with him. I took the 13 month old and the 4 year old to him. They both have flu symptoms he says no it's just a common cold but they're highly contagious . Really?? He gave my 4 year old grandson a flu shot with him running fever and sick today. Just plain stupid.

I am not an unkind person, but this man should have his medical license revolked and never allowed to practice medicine again! Both of my granddaughters have been misdiagnosed by him on numerous occassions. Both have ended up in the hospital with pneumonia and even a rptured eardrum because of his negligence! He said to us on every visit that they we're fine and nothing to worry about...how can u miss a ruptured eardrum and pneumonia!! Parents, do jot take your children to see this.doctor!

Have used this guy with 2 of my sons, and always seemed to have the younger one seen by another Dr. within 2 days of seeing Yoder. And would always end up being an ear infection. He later had tubes put in which we had to demand a referal to the specialist!! And today 5 hours after Yoder diagnosed my son with a cold within 2 minutes of the visit, HisTemp Wasnt even taken!!!!! He was diagnosed with strep!!!! How does this man keep his job with performances like this????
