Dr. Dylan Carmichael, DO is a board-certified colorectal and general surgeon specializing in advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques. He is dedicated to delivering personalized, high-quality care for patients with a wide range of colorectal and abdominal conditions, helping them achieve the best possible outcomes with less pain, smaller incisions, and faster recovery whenever possible.

Dr. Carmichael's clinical expertise includes robotic and minimally invasive colorectal surgery, advanced endoscopic and organ-preserving procedures, robotic hernia repair, complex abdominal wall reconstruction, and gallbladder surgery. He treats conditions such as colon and rectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel diseases including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, pelvic floor disorders, rectal prolapse, and fecal incontinence through sacral neuromodulation.

After earning his medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, …Dr. Carmichael completed his general surgery internship and residency at Geisinger Medical Center before pursuing specialized fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at the University of Tennessee.
