Dr. Dylan Mckenney, MD

After about one year of psychiatry for chronic anxiety and depression I ended up in the hospital and he was the psychiatrist they’re treating me I told him I tried all the first and second line medications and I asked about third line medications. At that point he insisted that there should be behavior changes even though I’ve been going to cognitive behavioral therapy for a couple years now to target my behavior. In conclusion he insisted behavior changes was the key to my chronic anxiety and depression I did not believe that since behavior changes did not change my mood or outlook on life. Disappointing that he was unwilling to Medically treat a suicidal child. Not a wise decision.

He really listens to the parent and validates them and works closely with them all the while really listening to the child. Love him!!

Dr. McKenney has been so good to my family !! We love him and my children trust him. He really can get down on a child or adolescent's level. Only difficulty is, he is in such high demand, you have to wait longer to get an appt because he is only in the office one day a week with a very abbreviated schedule.
