Dr. Dyveke Patrice Pratt, MD

Started out good with her care and then gave up when she didn't know what to do. Refused to give adequate and proper referrals.

My mother has Parkinson's and is rapidly declining. Dr Pratt was very good in the beginning of her care, my mother umderwent DBS surgery. My issue with dr Pratt is that my parents recently came to see her for a scheduled appointment and they were late. My father is 80 years old and is my mothers caregiver, she requires total care. Obviously it was difficult for them to physically make it to the appointment. Dr Pratt refused to see my mother after she arrived late. I'm sure she will remember the details, it sounds like the office staff was mortified and embarrassed - having to explain why they were not being seen. I have worked in health care for 20 years and this absolutely disgusts me. How she could be so cruel I do not know. I lost all respect for her. If she or her staff would like to discuss this with me I would welcome the opportunity. Very disgusted and will be contacting someone to file an official complaint.

Dr. Pratt specializes in Parkinson's Disease and I have been her patient for two years. She has a lot of experience treating Parkinson's, including DBS therapy, despite her young age. My DBS surgery has increased my functionality and quality of life tremendously and is the reason I am able to type this review. She always listens well and has compassion for the tough stuff PD patients live with. She can be hard to get into initially, but after becoming an established patient I find it more efficient to message her through the online porthole than to call the office when I have a question. She or her staff always responds promptly. Great person, great doctor. Highly recommend.
