Dr. Earl Olson was born and raised in Rutland, Vermont. He is a graduate of Rutland High School, class of 1969, and competed in baseball, football and basketball when Rutland High won their last Vermont State Championship. Earl then attended the University of Vermont where he studied Forestry and Wildlife Biology. Earl had fun and success as the quarterback of the UVM Football team and is a member of the University of Vermont Athletic Hall of Fame.
After a short stint with professional football, Earl attended Tufts School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1977. Dr. Olson then completed the General Practice Residency Program at The Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, Vermont and began his General Dentisty Practice in Rutland, Vermont in August of 1978.
Dr. Olson is a member of The American Dental Association and The Rutland County Dental Society.
Dr. Olson and his wife, Bonnie, live in Chittenden, Vermont and have two daughters, Sally and Leah …who both practice dental hygiene in Burlington, Vermont.
Earl spends much of his free time outdoor enjoying hiking, hunting, fishing and photography.
