Very uncaring and dismissive; almost lost my child due to his incompetence

I took both my babies to Dr Smith. He is the very best!! I recommend him highly. Great staff,great personality, and he was always in a good mood.

Dr. Smith was my husband's pediatrician when he was young and my youngest son is now a patient of his. When my son was born, he was being treated by a different pediatrician for illness every 2 weeks. He retired. We brought him to Dr. Smith and Dr. Smith immediately diagnosed him with Asthma! My son suffered through a year and a half without a diagnosis and simple treatment and, in 5 minutes, Dr. Smith was able to diagnose and develop a preventative plan! My son has been healthy ever since! I have never met a Dr. who loves BOTH the kids AND the parents as much as Dr. Smith!!!

I have two children a son 13yrs and daughter 6 yrs of age. Dr Smith has been both of their Doctors. Dr Canody is following in his foot steps. Both of these doctors have great bedside manners and are always on point with the diagnosis. I wish I could find a doctor for myself that was a good as these two.

Dr. Smith and Dr. Canody are the most caring doctors I have ever interacted with. Dr. Smith treated me and my siblings as a child and is now treating my daughter. I can always get a same day appointment, even within the hour in most cases and I never wait more than just a few minutes. He is funny and kind and talks with the kids and they just love him. I can't say enough wonderful things about him and his staff. I hope he never retires.

Dr. Smith and Dr. Cannady are the BEST pediatricians in Tampa. Our son has been a patient in their office for more than 13 years. There is no better place to take your child!

I took my 4yr old son to see Dr. Earl Smith and was happy to get in and out quickly without sacrificing the real care and service we needed. In these times it seem like most doctors are too lazy to really pay attention to there patients. they over utilize there assistances ,nurses, and technology to the point where you don't even get to see them...But Dr. Smith you blew me away!! When we came for our fist visit you listened and ask questions first then listed the best diagnosing options. I was most shocked when you personally called me with the blood test result and talk to me about other option. Most doctors would have there nurse call and ask you to come in to pay another office visit .But you actually care about how I feel and what I wanted for my son. I was involved with his treatment thank you so much I wish there were more doctors like you.
