Physician Assistant Eberhard “Eb” Maendel has been with Las Vegas Skin & Cancer Clinics for over 12 years, having also spent time at our Rancho, Centennial, and Tenaya offices before relocating to his final home at our Seven Hills office several years ago. His expertise and commitment to the health of your skin is evident by all the patients and even medical assistants who followed him from office to office and are still with him today.

Eb, as his patients affectionately call him, has been working in medicine since his early 20s, when he started out as a paramedic. But after 8 years of emergency medicine in Buffalo, NY, and overseas in Israel, he gravitated to dermatology because of its visual aspects. When presented with your skin concern, he appreciates the challenge of diagnosing and treating it. Even more enjoyable is being able to see noticeable improvements in your condition, whatever it may be.

Eb grew up in upstate New York close to the Hudson River Valley but has spent much …of his adult life out west. He received his undergraduate degree from University of Buffalo before earning his Physician Assistant degree at D’youville College in Buffalo New York. His given first name is always a topic of conversation, about which he is good-natured enough to patiently discuss at least a dozen times a day.
