Dr. Ebrahim Ahmadi, MD

I found Dr. Ahmadi through my insurance portal. I made an appointment for my daughter's 6-year-old check-up. We arrived five minutes early, and the first problem was that the receptionist couldn't find our appointment in the schedule. We ended up waiting for an HOUR, and the reason seemed to be that the receptionist was not passing us on to the doctor until she finished processing the paperwork. Why??? She did not have us fill out a medical history or a request for previous doctor records. She also made us pay in full, despite the fact that our copay should have been zero because a check-up is preventative care. When she finally called us back, she led us into a tiny room with a computer and a scale and left. A few minutes later, without weighing my daughter or measuring her height, the nurse led us to the exam room. When the nurse realized my daughter hadn't been weighed or measured (who did she expect to do it?), she walked us back to the original tiny room. She started off trying to… weigh my 50-lb daughter by putting a 100-lb weight on the scale and attempting to adjust the smaller weight. Eventually she figured it out, took the measurements, and we went back to the exam room for the 2nd time. The nurse had to ask us why we were there. She asked us about screen time, diet, school. We mentioned that my daughter didn't like meat. The nurse told my daughter that she needed to eat protein in order to grow tall and run faster than the other kids in her class. 1) My daughter has always been in the 99th percentile for height: she towers over everyone her own age. 2) My daughter has no problem running fast. 3) We'd already told the nurse that we homeschool, so my daughter doesn't have classmates. The nurse also said that if my daughter didn't eat properly, she would feel tired and get fat. I think that was an irresponsible thing to say to a 6-year-old girl. I don't want my daughter to get an eating disorder or to have misconceptions about how people become fat or to look down on people for different body types. The nurse gave my daughter a flu shot, which went fine, except that the nurse put the band-aid in the wrong spot. I feel like if you can't put a band-aid in the right spot, you shouldn't be administering shots. When Dr. Ahmadi arrived, he did not greet my daughter or put her at ease (she was a little moody from the shot). He also had to ask us why we were there. The nurse stuck a camera in my daughter's face to get a photo for their records, and then she and Dr. Ahmadi spent most of the appointment ignoring us as they tried to upload the photo. I don't understand why this had to be done during our appointment, or why the nurse and doctor were doing it. Shouldn't the receptionist handle that sort of thing? Dr. Ahmadi did not check my daughter's eyes, ears, or throat, and he only listened to her heart from the chest (not the back). He asked whether we had been to the dentist, and we said that we still needed to find one and make an appointment. He said they would give us a referral, but they forgot. They also said they would make a copy of the immunization chart I brought, but again, they forgot. We didn't remind them. They did not tell us what percentiles my daughter was in for weight/height, they did not quiz her cognitive abilities (something we've done at every check-up until now), they did not test her eyesight or hearing, they did not test her reflexes. Dr. Ahmadi also made a comment about her school after we had told him we homeschool. The office was very clean, but the nurse was in open-toed shoes and had her hair loose, which seemed inappropriate/unsanitary. There was no sink in the room, so we had no idea whether the nurse or Dr. Ahmadi washed their hands. Dr. Ahmadi had grime under his nails. He did not wear gloves. Honestly, they could not remember anything we said, and they seemed confused about why we were there, as if they were just making it up as they went along. On the way out, they did not offer any stickers or toys; I don't think they had them, even though it is supposedly a "family medicine" practice. Worst doctor's visit ever.

Visited Dr. Ahmadi last week with my family for our Medical exam for Immigration. It was a very smooth prompt process. The details and explanation of every procedure was informative. The Clinic was pleasant and have positive ambiance for patients. Overall and very positive experience.

I had been told by several doctors over the last two decades that I needed Total Knee Replacement (TKR), but I just kept suffering and putting it off refusing to give up the pain and suffering and the time required for healing. I had pretty much excepted the fact that I wasn't going to run any more, and that my practice martial arts was going limited to mostly hand techniques. Then, one day I walked into Doctor Ebrahims office because I was suffering from back pain, and jokingly I asked him to give me some cortisone to ease the pain in my knees. That was when he told me he could fix them and asked me to return in a week. I did return in a week, and lo and behold after 5 treatments I am painless, running again, teaching Martial Arts and playing baseball with my 11 year old son.

When I was worry about skin cancer Dr. Ahmadi calmly reassured me and schedule biopsy right away. I got the best and care and fortunately result was negative. I had a piece of mind in no time!!!

I am lucky to have Dr. Ahmadi as my primary care dr. He is very knowledgeable, capable and sharp in family medicine. Every time I see him with new concern, he always responds promptly and accurately. I used to introduce him to many friends and relative. Most of them were satisfied. One was with hematuria which was thought as infection by other dr and Dr. Ahmadi doubted that it might be malignancy and turned out he was right. It made the patient get tx earlier and considered saving his life. The other one who has high blood pressure insisted that hypertension would do nothing bad to his body since he can stand with that blood pressure and feels fine. Dr Ahmadi just convinced him by giving an example like termite which damage the house without being seen. I have been so impressed that he is an excellent health educator as well. His staff are friendly and helpful. They are nice to walk-in patient and work efficiently with scheduling or rescheduling. All together, his clinic is … trustworthy and patient- friendly.

He is the best family doctor
