Dr. Ebubechukwu Chukwuemeka Njemanze, MD

I never actually got to see this Physician because he refused to see me. I scheduled my appointment almost 2 weeks in advance. At the time I scheduled the appointment I told the scheduler I had recently recovered from COVID. I had been cleared by the state health department to go back to work and the public. I explained to her that I did not have a fever or any other symptoms and hadn’t for a couple of weeks but that since having recovering I am still short of breath and fatigued very easily. I e also noticed my resting heart rate is about 20bpm higher then before. They recommended a internal medicine provider and I agreed. They offered a video appointment and I asked to see a provider in person because I wanted my lungs listened to. They said sure and scheduled the appointment almost two weeks out. During the two weeks I was waiting. I received 3 calls from the office. All had to die with the fact that I once had an insurance they do t take. Each time I told them I no longer had… that insurance and that had my new insurance they would apologize and let me off the phone. The day of my appointment. I check I. And tell the check in person why I’m there assuming she already knows what my appointment is for since I was so clear with the scheduler. Well she gets a worried look scoots back further from the window she has between us and says she has to call for a nurse. The nurse says they have to check with the Dr. and the Dr. has the nurse call back and say that I can only have a video or phone appointment. U til I get a negative test. I tell them I can’t because the state epidemiologist told me I would most likely test a false positive because I have antibodies. The supervisor comes and tells me I can not be seen. I told them that I was SOB all the time. Very fatigued and was scared. I would like to be examined. They said they couldn’t help me and that I could go to an ER or Urgent care. I explained that I was already told by those those offices that since I was a COVID follow up I needed to see a Primary care. I was told they would have the care coordinator call me and that never happened either. They basically turned there back on me because this provider was to scared to treat a sick patient. I am disgusted with the way I was treated. I felt embarrassed, alone and like I wasn’t even a person. Everyone I spoke with went from being super nice to acting like I was holding a bomb. I will never go to this provider again and I will tell everyone I can to never go there either.
