Dr.
Bird is from Youngstown, Ohio. He attended the United States Coast Guard
Academy in New London, Connecticut. Upon graduating he specialized in Search
and Rescue, serving for 6 years and attaining the rank of Lieutenant
commander. He then attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry
from 1978-1982. This practice had its inception in July 1982 when Dr. Bird
moved to Colorado Springs and started seeing patients at the practice’s
original location on N. Academy Blvd.

Dr.
Wittenberg is from Lafayette, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State
University in Baton Rouge. Upon graduating he attended Louisiana State
University School of Dentistry from 1978-1982. After graduation he returned
to Lafayette, Louisiana where he maintained a private practice for eight
years. In the fall of 1990 Dr. Wittenberg moved to Colorado Springs with his
family to join Dr. Bird and formed the partnership as we know it today.
…Both Doctors are very active with post graduate education
in furthering their professional areas of interest. Doctors Bird and
Wittenberg are members of numerous study clubs and organizations on a
national, state and local level. Dr. Bird is a past president of the
Colorado Springs Dental Society.
