Dr. Eddie Clifford Beal, MD

Dr. Beal's policy is to drop you as a patient and send you to collections less than 30 days after sending a bill and mere days after the due date. I was a patient in good standing for 3 years. He sent a bill for a visit on August 5th and sent me to collections, dropped me as a patient, and refused care on September 1st. I gave him several chances to make it right, but he refused to even accept a payment and said I have to talk to the collections agency. The office confirmed that the bill is due 30 days after the appointment, no matter how long after the it takes them to determine what you owe. He will send you 5 notices via email and then send you to collections if the bill is even 1 day past due. He will not only refuse care when you need it, but he will ruin your credit. Dr. Beal runs a flagrantly predatory practice. He cannot be relied upon for care.

I have been coming to this practice for a year and the billing really is frustrating. More frustrating is calling this office and getting voicemail to schedule an appointment when I need to discuss a bill and the office is not closed yet. If you are looking to be frustrated this is a great office to visit. I'm going to make this my last visit.

If you're seeking a seasoned psychiatrist with a caring demeanor and flexible options, Dr. Beal is well-regarded in the community. Just be aware that administrative efficiency has fluctuated—but those issues appear to be largely resolved.

I’ve been going to Dr. Beal for nearly 10 yrs give or take . And I plan to go for many more His . staff are such great , kind and understanding individuals. They listen to you and help in any way they can . Always returning your calls . I’m so very thankful that Dr. Beal was sent into my life .
