Very professional and takes the time to explain and discuss any concerns at every appointment. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Dr. Cheung was my father's doctor and is now my husband and my doctor too. He is absolutely amazing. There was no one my father trusted more and my husband and I agree now that we are also in his care. We cannot recommend him enough.

Dr. Cheung was attentive and listened to me to find out what my problems were. He did not rush me and explained everything clearly. I felt I was receiving the best care. Compared to some other doctors, Dr. Cheung was by far one of the best I’ve seen.

I went in to see Dr Eddie Cheung for liver problems and I find his bedside manners to be very strange. He seemed dismissive of me and the concerns I had. I am already someone who's scared of doctors so I spent the whole time feeling nervous and like I was about to say something wrong, or ask the wrong questions. I picked him because he is the closest liver doctor to where I live, but I think I'm going to choose another even if it means a longer journey.

With how doctor offices are being bought up by Stanford, Sutter and UCSF amongst others, it’s wonderful that there are still doctors who are autonomous and available when needed. Dr. Cheung is one of these rare amazing doctors. He is knowledgeable, kind and patient. If it wasn’t for Dr. Cheung, I would be facing a life of nonstop medication and fear of possible liver disease and potential cancer. My family and I are indebted to Dr. Cheung’s care and my many years of good health ahead.

Dr. Cheung was recommended to me by a good friend to whom I am grateful. Dr. Cheung was polite and very patient with me. He demonstrated his vast knowledge of liver disease and explained my situation very thoroughly. I would recommend Dr. Cheung to anyone who is looking for a good GI doctor or hematologist. After my visit, I learned Dr. Cheung is the president of the American Liver Foundation which further confirmed his expertise in liver diseases. Excellent doctor!

I do not typically post reviews. However, after reading the most recent review, I felt a sense of obligation to share my over 20 years of experiences with Dr. Cheung as my doctor. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cheung! He is kind, caring, pleasant and very knowledgeable. His conduct is very professional. Every time I or my family had any questions, he would explain things to us so we would understand. I know I have asked him some questions over and over again. He continued to answer our questions without reservation. None of this "I already told you". He is very patient and understanding with excellent bedside manners. After we asked our questions, he would still ask us if we have any other questions or anything we want him to go over again. He would not rush us. If he was ever rude, I would have been long gone. This has never been the case. He is very passionate and I will continue my medical care with Dr. Cheung. I would again wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Cheung.

I would not recommend Dr Cheung. I took an elderly neighbor in for an appointment with him as she does not speak English. He was rude and obnoxious, with zero bedside manners. His whole attitude throughout the appointment was just really off. Every time I asked a question it was as if he was so exasperated with having to talk a patient through medical jargon in laymen's terms. Well forgive me, doctor, but I am not a medical professional and that is why we entrust you to help us. Again, I would not recommend Dr Cheung.
