Dr. Eddy Hsueh performs complex cancer surgery for patients with melanoma, sarcoma, pancreatic cancer, metastatic colon cancer and gastric cancer. He uses the most current technology in his practice, including laparoscopic liver and pancreatic surgery, and sentinel lymph node biopsy.

Dr. Hsueh is interested in research that investigates tumor immunology and tumor metabolism. His laboratory also studies the surgical treatment of melanoma and other advanced cancers and sarcomas.

He is a professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Hsueh heads surgical oncology for the division.

This man possibly saved my life. When I was originally diagnosed with Melanoma by another Dr. Dr. Hsueh got me in right away and I had surgery with a week. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer by the lab, but Dr. Hsueh did the surgery, removed it, removed lymph nodes and I have been cancer free 3-1/2 yrs. (I have a big scar but I tell everyone I was bit by a shark and Dr. Hsueh saved me.) He is very gentle, considerate and I trust him immensely. I would and do recommend him to anyone! I am forever grateful to this man and his skills.

I was referred to Dr. Hseuh after being diagnosed with Melanoma. He was so compassionate and comforting to me. He was attentive and very thorough. I am so thankful that I was under his care.

Eddy is not god but misdiagnosed my daughter Died 11 months later she just turned 27 years old

I have seen Dr Hsueh many times for various melanoma surgeries. He is an excellent surgeon and a kind and compassionate physician .
