Dr. Eden Gabrielle Fromberg, DO

This doctor is highly insensitive and unprofessional. She falsely diagnosed me with a sexually transmitted disease and suggested I got it from my husband of 20+ years. Need I say more- about the problem she could have caused?? Thankfully we are committed and trusting of each other.

Doctor Fromberg is uncaring, unprofessional and incompetent. She divulged private medical information to my husband while in a prenatal appointment with me! I was in labor for five days and she didn't have me come in to take vitals. She never even called to check on me! I called Dr. Fromberg because I was frightened and unable to sleep for 4th night. Was she concerned, no! She was mad I woke her up... seriously! She's an obgyn! Thankfully I switched to the midwives after that phonecall and delivered a healthy baby. I honestly wonder if the woman is a sadist. She definitely shouldn't be an obgyn!

I did have a good c-section with Dr Fromberg, but I wished I followed my gut and switched doctor of switched to Midwives. My experience was not a nice one with her as my Doctor.

She does not deliver babies so see her was a waste of time and money she knows her stuff but not worth it spent over 3500 just for 2 visits and they want to charge me more to get my records sent to me.... when I was calling there was no answer for a few weeks and no email reply’s until I get a call saying i need to pay for records that I’ve been wanting a while ago. Insane .

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks in February. I went to see Dr Fromberg and after a sonogram she told me I needed a d&c right away (did I?!) even though I passed almost everything naturally a few days before. I trusted her and did the procedure. Soon after I went in for a visit and she told me that the tissue removed from my uterus during the d&c could be cancerous and that we needed to do more testing to make sure it wasn't. The tests came back negative. A few weeks passed, I started to have some cramps but still no period. I told the doctor and she asked me to come in for an exam. After the sonogram she said that something had grown in my uterus. She suspected it was another miscarriage or leftover tissue from the previous pregnancy or a molar pregnancy or a tumor. She rushed me to do another procedure to remove what she saw. I trusted her again and after the surgery she explained that she was unsuccessful and couldn't remove what she was looking for as it was "walled-off" and decided… to stop the procedure. She then suggested to do an MRI and consult an oncologist. I did the MRI the next day and found out that I only had a small blood cloth in my uterus (which often forms and goes on it's own) and a large amount of free fluid within the pelvis (I later found out it was blood). The days following the procedure were terrible, I was extremely bloated and in a lot of pain. I decided to consult another gynecologist. After analyzing my file and examining me, he concluded that my uterus had been perforated during the second procedure. He explained that Dr Fromberg may have entered on the side of my uterus which explains why she found a "wall". She was actually outside my uterus and perforated it trying to reach the "growth"! To recap, her diagnostic following the last sonogram was completely wrong. She mistook a small blood cloth for a fetus or a tumor and rushed me into surgery during which she missed my uterus and perforated it trying to get in! My new doctor told me to rest and said that I should let my uterus heal after the last procedure and that it can take up to 3 or more months for the period to come back after a d&c so it was ok that I didn't get it yet. I am happy to say that I just naturally got my period and there is nothing growing in my uterus (the small blood cloth has also gone on it's own). Dr Fromberg misdiagnosed me and was dishonest to the point that she didn't tell me she perforated my uterus (she admitted it only when I confronted her). She is also very expensive. She charges $1000 to $2000 a visit and $500 for a sonogram made with cheap ultrasound equipment. She is at least 1 hour late to each appointment. I wrote this review because I don't want other women to go through what I have been through, not to damage her reputation. I was hurt physically emotionally and I spent around $20.000 for all the visits, surgeries and blood work.

Dr Fromberg is quirky, yes, but she is smart and switched on with the holistic community and has great recommendations for other practitioners (acupuncturist, massage, meditation, homeopathy) and how to not just resort to writing a prescription. She could be a little more timely, however, she never rushes an appointment and her office is friendly and efficient!

She is a mess. Emotionally unstable, in my opinion. Pushy and then has a tantrum if you don't do procedures that she recommends. There should be a calm, open dialogue between patient and doctor. You can forget that with Dr Fromberg. I don't think that much rational medicine or healing can happen with her as your gynecologist.

Dr. Fromberg delivered my daughter . She was remarkable as was the whole experience.

Dr. Fromberg caught a problem with irregular spotting and bleeding that other docs had just written off to irregular periods. Her thoughtful approach and diagnosis as well as the surgical procedure that followed were handled beautifully. Thanks to her, I went on to have two extremely healthy pregnancies. Loved her thoughtful and women-centered approach to treatment.

I disliked her very wrong diagnosis, her manner and her very expensive fee.
