dirty office, unprofessional staff and the doctor does not follow up or even notice patients ailments. for example those patients that are showing signs of dementia and or parkinsons

Dr. Baraya has been my primary physician for the last 19 years. He has always been a gentleman, caring, and excellent doctor, his bedside manners could not be any better. His office is always fast paced and busy, but when you enter his personal office for consultation is a totally different ambience. I do not understand the last two comments as I have always been treated with respect and courtesy. Perhaps 2 disgruntled clients having a bad day??? His staff are always ready to assist you, they are caring, loving and their demeanor is casual, always very receptive and helpful. Dr Baraya's office is small, always full of patients, and yes appointments are almost always a month ahead, but maybe due to the large amount of patients seen on a daily basis. Should his patients not be satisfied with his efficiency and that of his staff, his office would be so thriving as it always is and I'm sure, I myself, would not opt for a doctor or an office like the one described above by other users. … I hear he is not accepting new patients at this time, due to the great volume of patients he has. It seems to me we need more doctors like Dr. Baraya, he takes time and patience with his patients and goes out of his way to provide them with other needs they may have, such as medications. Please do not be fooled by those derrogatory comments above, they must've had a real bad day in which nothing went their way. MD offices are usually fast paced, busy and short staffed. Two opinions could not possibly describe perfectly Dr. Baraya's office and his efficiency.

Dr. Barrya is a pleasant physician, but he is not up to the task, and neither is his staff. Barraya treats his patients with a look of tiredness, and a strong touch of paternalism. His female staffers are obnoxious, rude, and do not follow up on prescriptions or referrals sent to them on behalf of Barraya's patients. They don't know what they are doing at this office, and they spend lots of time covering up their incompetence. If you want a good Doctor to pay attention to you, and if you want to deal with a nice caring staff--don't go to Dr. Barraya's office.His staff is foul-mouthed, rude, and disgusting! Sadly, Dr. Barraya won't fire his nincompoop staff. He's probably used to their mediocrity because he too is mediocre.The office is dirty, disgusting, and the staff is OBNOXIOUSLY unfriendly. A real rat-hole.Sorry.

Dr Baraya is a decent caring physician. He has the lousiest staff in the Bronx. They are rude, poorly spoken (poor grammar),and cruel.Too bad.
