Dr. Edgar G Bigornia, MD

Awful experience. Over a two hour wait only to be belittled and made to feel like you were bothering him if you had a question. He was arrogant, rude, as were the receptionists. The office is old and dirty. Stay away at all costs!

My experience was very positive from the front office staff, the surgical staff and of course, Dr. Bigornia. My appointments were on time with perhaps only an 8 minute wait to be seen I was treated with personal concern and professionalism. After my procedure I received a phone call from the office to inquire how I was feeling. All in all, having a colon- oscopy wasn't so bad. Dr. Bigornia was very patient and listened to my concerns, my expectations were met.

He didn't listen, interrupted me to tell me how I was feeling, and prescribed medicine based on his profile of me. He set up a bunch of tests even though I told him I had already done those and knew the results but he wanted to see for himself. I hoped it meant he was thorough. He also asked me to send him previous imaging so he could look at the results from that. When I went in for a follow up, he had no recollection of our previous meeting and didn't seem to have kept any notes. Two sentences in and he was going to prescribe me the same exact medication he had already prescribed. He had to be reminded of the imaging, which he looked at then and there. Fine. But then he again told me how I feel and prescribed a more powerful version of the same kind of drug. It felt as if he was reading off a list of symptoms and saying, "See, this is you. Take this drug." I left feeling frustrated both times and will not go back to him.

I was a patient for a couple of years and tried to ignore his abrupt and dismissive manner. However, when I did dare to ask a question, he told me, "You be the patient and let me be the doctor." That was the last time I went there.

Probably the rudest, ill mannered doctor I've met in 50 years. Certifiable train wreck.

Horrible doctor with no bedside manner. Quite often rude -this doctor should not be practicing medicine at all. Stay away at all costs.

What I like about Dr. Bigornia is that he is very easy to talk to, I always feel comfortable talking to him about what was going on when in a flare for my UC. When I was in a complete flare each time he attacked it immediately with every way possible just to bring me relief. The only reason I noted 3 stars on Promptness is because when you are in the older office, there is usually a longer wait because there is more than one dr seeing patients. Always ask for appointments in the new building, the scheduled appointment time is always met, and if there is a delay, its usually 10 minutes at the most.

From the first time I visited Dr, Boginia's office several years ago I was very comfortable with him. I was surprised and pleased in the amount of time he spend with me. I recently had a routine procedure and was once again put at easy by the doctor and his staff. Would recommend. '

Dr Bigornia was recommended to me by my family physician. He put me right at ease during my first visit, Although the outcome of my colonoscopy was not good, he reported the news in a kind and gentle way. I found the Dr. and his staff efficient, pleasant and professional
