Dr. Edgar Ying-Shih Chen, MD

I was seen by Dr Chen at the Riverview hospital after being admitted with stroke symptoms. He completely misdiagnosed me and then his office sent me the bill which should have been covered under my insurance policy. When I called the office, I got some angry, incompetent and rude lady who refused to listen to me and kept saying that my insurance declined the charge and now I was responsible for the entire bill. Long story short, I had to call my insurance, and was told that their billing staff incorrectly coded the claim, that's why the charge was rejected in the first place. Beware of this office, unless you don't mind being extorted.

Doctor chen is a wonderful doctor, he make sure that you are test for everything that is wrong with you.

Thoughtful and caring. Great doctor. Dr. Chen spends a lot of time with his patients, so be prepared to wait for a while to see him, but it is worth it.
