He completed his internship at the Washington University of St. Louis, MO, and his ophthalmology residency at West Virginia University. Dr. Gamponia is a board certified ophthalmologist, a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Gamponia joined Regional Eye Associates in 1997. He is experienced in a wide variety of comprehensive ophthalmic surgeries including laser refractive surgery, cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, oculoplastic surgery, and retinal laser surgery. Dr. Gamponia resides in Morgantown with his wife, Bethann, and their four children, Payne, Andrew, Phoebe and Victoria.
