Dr. Edgar Arvid Lueg, MD

Billed my insurance $900 for a "surgical procedure, " which was a simple scope of my nasal and throat membranes. Had to pay the 20% up front, which along with my copay, totaled $290! Came back a week and half later, same issue and scoped me again. Another $90! Sent my for a CT of my sinus. Results were sent to my home, as well as his office and showed nothing remarkable. Office called wanting to make appoint to discuss findings. What, for another $50 for him to tell me the results were negative?! Nope. Had already gone to Dr. Armin Alavi. He had scoped me also, BUT only for the price of my copay! AND... he called me himself with the negative results, letting me know no appoint was necessary. Amazing.

He will stick a camera in your nose or ear and bill 900 to your insurance company as a surgical procedure. Also collects 20 percent at time of service and getting a refund is like an act of Congress! I recommend Armin Alavi at Ventura ENT Group

Maybe great for minor issues, otherwise I wish I had not wasted my money with him. Right before surgery, I even had to remind him, SERIOUSLY, of what the procedures were we had spoken about. He went back into his notes and saw that I was right, if I had not confirmed what procedures were, would not have been done, assuming it was done! Anyway, did not help at all.

Horrible experience with the office staff. Even the Doctor was getting into arguments with the staff, while he had patents waiting in their rooms. I gave them 4 years of my life and now its time to move on.

Friendly doctor who talks in plain English. Efficient staff. In and out on time. Overall good experience.

I am so pleased with Dr. Lueg. I had 3 operations for my sinuses in the past and none of them worked so my sinuses were still draining smelly greenish pus. When Dr. Lueg recommended using a balloon to open my sinuses I was pretty skeptical. I had the procedure in Dr. Lueg's office 2 months ago and he opened all my sinuses. For the first time in forever the drainage down the back of my throat has basically stopped and I am even starting to smell again. Very pleased!

I went to see Dr. Lueg after the first ENT my family doctor sent me to was very abrupt. My husband's friend recommended I see him and I am so glad I did. I was so worried about losing my voice since I'm a teacher. He calmed me down and explained the whole procedure so that I could understand it. Had the surgery 3 weeks ago and no problems. I have complete confidence in Dr. Lueg and would strongly recommend him to anyone. My only issue was that the main door to their office building is actually at the back of the building which was a little confusing for my first visit.

I was very happy with my treatment at Dr. Lueg's office. The staff, which consisted of 2 lovely young ladies, were extremely friendly and immediately put me at ease. After speaking with Dr. Lueg, I felt confident that I was getting the best advice and treatment.

I am so grateful that I finally decided to switch my ENT and see Dr. Lueg. I have been suffering from terrible sinuses for the past 20 years and would see my ENT every few months for a bad sinus infection and tons of antibiotics. My CT scan showed I had really bad chronic sinusitis and Dr. Lueg opened them up in his office with a balloon and I have not had another infection since. I am so grateful to Dr. Lueg who really gave me my life back!! Sent two of my friends to see him.

Dr. Lueg's office squeezed me that morning when I told them I was having the WORST sinus infection of my life. I got better on the antibiotics right away and was able to go back to work the next day. I was very happy with my visit and my daughter has seen him since and like him as well. very much recommend him!!
