Dr. Sims is not only a Native of Huntsville, but also has a true compassion for the Community and serving Her "Neighbors".  She attended HuntsvilleHigh School graduating in the Top 10% of the Class.  Inspired by Her Father, Dr. Sims pursued her dream of becoming an Outstanding Dentist who listens to Her Patients and provides exceptional care.  Dr. Sims attended SamHoustonStateUniversity graduating with Honors and maintaining a high GPA to award Her with the opportunity to pursue Her Dream.  Dr. Sims was accepted into DentalSchool at the University of Texas in San Antonio.  In 1984 She graduated in the Top 10% of Her class as a Member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
This was only the beginning of Dr. Sims' education and goal to become an outstanding Dentist.  Dr. Sims has completed five Continuums at the Pankey Institute in Florida for Advanced Functional Dentistry.  She has numerous continuing education hours with an …emphasis on Full Mouth Reconstruction, Cosmetic Dentistry and Functional Applications.
Dr. Sims is a member of several distinguished organizations and study groups including: The Texas Academy of General Dentists, and The Southwest Prosthodontic Society, both requiring advanced studies for Membership.  She is also a Member of the American Dental Association, The Texas Dental Association and The Brazos Valley District Dental Society.
Dr. Sims began practicing Dentistry in her Home Town of Huntsville, initially Associated with Dr. Ralph Cole.  During which time she continued to seek advanced education, but also helped Huntsville grow by having three terrific boys over a number of years.  Dr. Sims has owned her current Practice for twenty years and has enjoyed developing an environment that is comfortable, safe and technically advanced for Her "Neighbors"
Dentistry for Dr. Sims is more than a Profession, it is Her Passion  !
