Had one previous surgery by other doctor, Dr Reyes was very understanding and knowladgeble. His staff is the same. Even gave me a facial by one of his aesthetitians to control my acne.

I went to this doctor for a deviated septum. This doctor is an ENT not a plastic surgeon; he does not have aesthetics sense at all. After the rhinoplasty, I ended with a crocked nose, asymmetrical tip and one nostril noticeably bigger than the other (and it was supposed to be a closed approach surgery), as today, I have breathing problems. When I went to the consult, he claimed that he was an "expert" in beauty pageants participants and he showed me the before/after pics from Zuleyka Rivera, former 2006 Miss Universe telling me that she went under another surgeon in Dominican Republic that results in a disaster and that then Magali Febles brought her to the clinic for the revision, GUESS WHAT? it was a trade! PUBLICITY for FREE SURGERY! If you search for ZULEIKA RIVERA pics on the web, you can see a BIG cartilage graft in the tip of her nose that it very noticeable, it does not resemble a natural, "none-operated" look nose. Now a days, she is using Restylane, a temporary filler to… shape her nose. After my surgery, this doctor DID NOT have any bed side manners (caring), he said to me that I wanted a "model" nose and that it was all that he can do. I do not recommend this doctor to anybody, his costs are high, I paid more than $8,000, and his judgment for good surgery definition is poor. As today, my nose is a disaster. If you go to his website, he has few pictures of patients, and all are what it is called "easy" surgeries. At his office, he does not show you a lot of pictures neither, all of what he has, are old pictures from dorsal humps patients. If you want a portrait for yourself you would want to see other paints from the painter before chossing don't you?.If you want to build a simple house you go a an engineer, but if you want to build a great, good looks and attractive design for you house, you go to an architect. So, don't go to and ENT for your aesthetics, go to a REAL plastic surgeon that is specialized in what you are looking for and that have SKILLS. There are better doctors than Dr. Reyes here in Puerto Rico, take your time and do your research well. I do not recommend him.

My experience with this doctor was very bad. I had to be operated more than twice, and it was not because I did not like the "cosmetic appereance" it was because the nose was completely out of shape. I had bumps in my nose because the cartilages were not placed in the right place. Second, he inserted a graft in the right side of my nose (not even in the middle) that was totally visible, he told me it was going to be "disolved" but it never did. Finally he took the graft out and the worst is that it made a scar inside the tissues of the nose that make a bump in the place were it was inserted and it always is red and itchy. What are the odds? I met 4 more persons who went to this same doctor to reshape the tip of their nose and all of them had problems. Today my nose is totally out of shape (one nostril smaller than the other, left oriented) and always itchy. I recommend to everybody to always check a LOT of pictures of past patients who this doctor had operated and that have the… SAME problem that you intend to fix. I just saw old pics and were patients that did not even have my same problem, I wish I did my research better. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Seriously if is not the best is one of them; his interest in the patient, his dedication, the clean in the office, the deal to the patient, his sincere humility, the treatmentmakes you wanna comeback when you go. Anybody who wants or is looking for a real change should visit him.

I'm a patient of Dr. Edgar Reyes and I can say he is one of the best plastic surgeons in P.R. He and his staff are very professional and kind with their patients. And most important he cares about the 100% of your satisfaction. I recomend this doctor for everyone who wants the best results.
