Dr. Edgardo Mauricio Rodriguez-Collazo, MD

Seen Doctor Rodriguez for several years. I was hopeful at first and he kept me coming back, again and again and again. EMG tests, nerve conduction studies, many many nerve blocks, prescription medications of Lyrica and tramadol till I felt like a zombie. When I was still in pain he told me to take more meds. Two extensive foot surgeries, both very painful. Both failed. When I asked if the problem could be podiatry- foot & ankle. Rodriguez told me he would send me to another podiatrist because he did not want to practice podiatry anymore, only nerve surgery. Left me feeling abandon and alone. Clinic is filthy, I once had to clean blood & pus off the exam table while I waited for him at the clinic. Glad I did not contract Covid 19 going there. Location is lousy and the hospital he is associated with is terrible. I cannot give one good reason to see this doctor. Hope the insurance companies get wise to him. Doctor Rodriguez bills in excess of $100,000 for his nerve surgeries. To help… this cause BCBS, Aetna, CIGNA, HUMANA and other Illinois insurance companies will be getting LETTERS requesting that they dig into his practice and records to see if overbilling and or fraud have taken place. Also his accounts payable person is nasty and condescending. BAD, BAD and BAD.

Dr Rodriguez and his staff are incredibly I have known him for over 10 years and have had several surgeries he has helped me so much I reccomend him to anyone who has foot pain and or neuropathy. Dr Rodriguez and Dr Segura have a very unique approach to nerve pain neurologist/surgeon team approach also that I encourage to talk to other patients so patients can recognize real outcomes expectations

He is the best I met him over 10 years ago he has operated on me several times with great success. He and his staff are awesome they take the time to explain and answer questions very professional I highly recommend him

Awesome doctor and his staff excellent communication. I've know Dr. Rodriguez for over 10 years he has operated on me several times hes has reduced my foot pain from a 9 to a 2. Dr Rodriguez is the best been my doctor for over 10 years has done several surgeries on me and had reduced my foot pain from a constant 9-10. To 2. Him and his staff are the best they explain everything very well and answer all my questions. I recommend him for anyone with foot pain or neuropathy.

Not a very good doctor to say the least. Over BILLING and UNETHICAL. Charged BCBS $105,000 for 1 surgery. Lousy hospital he is with. No good reason to see this guy.

Dr. is reckless and will perform very risky surgery. Had two FAILED surgeries with him. Keeps changing his mind about treatment. Hospital he is associated with is crap. His clinic is filthy. I once had to clean the examining table in the room I was in of some blood & pus before he came in to examine me. WILL COMPLETELY TALK OVER YOU IF YOU START ASKING LEGITIMATE QUESTIONS. Big mistake going to this guy.
