Dr. Edith Rachel Lederman

I called twice to verify if Dr. Lederman was accepting new patients. One person had no idea who she was. When I clarified her location, he said I needed a referral. Internal Medicine is a PCP status on my insurance website. Then he said, "I have no idea if she is accepting new patients". I reiterated that is why I was calling. I asked for someone else as he clearly had no idea what he was doing. He told me to call back. I did so. Ran into the same issue again. This time, she insisted on my name, DOB, and phone number. I just need to confirm if she was accepting new patients and how long establishment appointments were taking. She also had no idea. I tried to explain, I am not in the system and therefore my information wasn't needed. She disconnected the call. A lot of today's office issues are their staff. Stop using call centers and hire people who know what they are doing! It's beyond frustrating. They are preventing patient care and this has never happened before. Just answer the… question; it's very standard!!!
