Dr. Edith Sonnenberg, MD

Edith Sonnenberg, MD grew up in Central New Jersey. She graduated with Highest Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She was also elected into Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in 2002. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and her residency at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She spent an additional year there as Chief Medical Resident. She completed her fellowship in Infectious Disease at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, NY.

Dr. Sonnenberg was board certified in Internal Medicine in 2005 and in Infectious Disease in 2008.

She is on staff at University Medical Center at Princeton, Merwick Care Center, Somerset Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Care One at East …Brunswick, and Saint Lawrence Rehabilitation Center.
