Since I met Dr. Edmee Rodriguez she always treated me and my husband with respect and not once did she talk down to us at our medical appts. Those other reviews must be from folks who are racists or down right ugly! She diagnosed the Stroke I had ~12 years ago, when Presbyterian Hospital released me, she quickly sent me to get a CAT Scan and found this out. She is caring, Professional, and to the point. This is what some people cannot absorb. Those who gave her a one star should be ashamed.!

I had several attempts to to explain my situation to the doctor and would just leave me talking or cut me off in the middle of my explanation. She would very quickly give her opinion without letting me finish first. I had to repeat my self several times just because she would not listen.

Failed to respect me or acknowledge that ultimately decisions about my tests, treatments and medications rested with me. I would not be intimidated, coerced or bullied. We parted ways in an ugly clash of power. Not what I am looking for in any aspect of my life.

I really like Dr. Rodriguez, however it is very rare for me to get an appointment with her. If I am sick and call first thing in the a.m. there are no appointments. All appointments are months out. Several times I have been referred to a PA. Other times they tell me to go to urgent care. I just want to see my primary care physician!
