Dr. Edmond Lok Ping Chan, MD

Excellent Doctor, Assistants, office.

I experienced a traveler's nightmare and became sick on vacation. I was admitted to Pomerado Hospital and was fortunate that Dr. Chan was my surgeon. He was caring and compassionate and treated my condition successfully. Once I was released, he worked me into his busy office schedule to make sure that I was able to travel home to Arizona. Looking back at my experience, my husband and I are extremely grateful that we chose Pomerado Hospital where Dr. Chan practices.

I very happy with the treatment Dr. Chan has provided for me. I went to another Specialist that did not treat me with kindness like Dr. Chan, He is so very patient and took the time to listen to me and my needs. We need more Doctors like him, we can not find old fashion medical help that care about the patient. Thank you Dr. Chan for accepting me as your patient.

Never hangup the phone when client need help even on Saturday. Need to explained why you can't work on saturday. NEED CUSTOMER SERVICES

I found Dr. Chan to be very attentive, professional and considerate during my visit. He carefully explained what the possible diagnoses and treatments might be before his examination. He then explained what to expect during the examination. (Let's just say the problem I went in for required me to drop my pride and bend over.) His nurse was also very professional and nice. Afterwards, Dr. Chan explained his conclusion and recommendation for treatment. Luckily, the treatment was to not perform any procedures. I would recommend this doctor.

This Doctor did not seem to care about me at all. He seemed to just be about the paycheck and getting out of the office to play golf. He seemed very superficial and if you don't look pretty or have a fat wallet he is not interested in me. I would rate him as a very bad MD.

Dr. Chan may not have a warm and fuzzy bedside manner, but he is an outstanding surgeon and I would highly recommend him.

I would NOT recommend this surgeon! He has no bedside manner. He ordered tests that we not needed, which, by the way, gave a false positive that cancer had matastisized! He hung up with us on the telephone. Very rude. I would not want anyone else to experience what we experienced!

I had one appointment with Dr. Chan, and it will be my last. Seemed more concerned over why I hadn't gone back to my original surgeon(heck, my doctor's office gave me two choices, and I picked him because he was closer), than what my health issue was. Never called to let me know the results of testing. And then when I did go back to my original surgeon, I called Dr. Chan's office to transfer the records of my one visit there, and they never sent them. Where was the caring?

Dr Chan literally made fun of me during my post-op visits. I've since had complications but I don't dare to go back and would rather work with another doctor than go back and get insulted even more.
