Great surgeon and person. I’m two weeks out from my lumbar fusion and off all pain meds and getting my life back. The best doctor I have ever had!

Among so many good reviews for Dr. Choi, I may be one of the few who will be honest about him. After all, no doctor is perfect. And not everyone who has a negative experience is willing to write about it. I made an appointment with Dr. Choi when I saw that his credentials state he cares for multiple orthopedic problems, including those I experience. I needed pain relief … and SOON. I told him all my problems, hoping he would bring relief for at least one or two: Right thumb Right foot…. PAINful lump on top of foot and sometimes extreme pain when walking on lower, ball of foot Bilateral knee PAIN, down to bone-on-bone Almost constant extreme lower back pain After X-rays of back and knees, this is basically what he said: Go to their foot doctor (since I do NOT like their foot “doctor” (Castaneda), I will not do that Go to their hand doctor Even though I told him I often have excruciating back pain, he said there is nothing to do because the pain isn’t going down my legs,… so there’s not much he can do (!!!) He told me to see a knee specialist, but there isn’t much to do except replacement. I disagree. There MUST be alternatives for knee pain besides useless pain injections and drastic, barbaric replacement. SUMMARY #1 Besides taking X-rays, Dr. Choi did absolutely NOTHING for me. No pain relief at all, no rehab, NOTHING! I was shocked that he told me to go to other specialists because I am not so dumb that I could not figure that out on my own! This appointment was a HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME and Medicare should not be billed for this! SUMMARY #2 If you enjoy WASTING your time and Medicare’s money, then DO go see Dr. Choi. If you want relief from pain and a good plan for your orthopedic problems, then do NOT see Dr. Choi. A complaint to the office manager resulted in NOTHING, no help whatsoever.
