Dr. Edmund Shyh-Cheng Liu, MD

When I told Dr. Liu my medical history, he laughed -- laughed! -- and said it wasn't correct. (It was.) He talked way too fast, making it difficult to hear or understand his medical advice. Adding injury to insult, he charged $500 for this simple appointment by mislabeling it as a "surgery." He is a bad doctor and a con man. Stay away.

Dr. Liu is a very competent and skilled surgeon. He has a friendly easy going manner that puts you at ease immediately and relieves your fears. He thoroughly explains the surgical procedure , what to expect and the recovery plan. I had full confidence in him and had a very successful outcome. I would highly recommend Dr. Liu.

I was treated for an absess in my throat. He cut it open and drained the puss, but REFUSED to give me pain killers that were appropriate for my level of pain. He treated me as though I was a drug addict rather than providing me with the relief which was absolutely pertinent. I had to get a prescription elsewhere. I find this sort of practice to be COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND INSENSITIVE TO PATIENT RECOVERY NEEDS. He had the ability to relieve my pain, and refused to facilitate me simply because of the stigma of young people my age abusing the drugs that I NEEDED.

Dr. Liu is a gentle, compassionate man, and an excellent surgeon. He fully explains diagnosis and procedure, answers questions, and puts the patient at ease prior and during surgery. I highly recommend him.
