Dr. Edna Sonia Arteaga-Hernandez, MD

she has been my wifes dr. for years and the only negative thing i can say is she has too many patients so appointments, if not made when you leave can sometimes take a month or more to get back in to see her (although she has made numerous concessions for my wife if she needs to see her sooner. her husband was the dr. all 4 of my kids grew up with and one of my grandchildren went to before she left california with my son.

Takes a month and a half to 2 months to be seen regardless of reason. Takes 2-30hrs to be seen with an appointment. Dr. Goes over everything in like 5 minutes and tells you your done without answering all your questions. Rushing with you while she lasted an hour with the previous patient talking and laughing. Refers you to places that dont even take your insurance. Unorganized, did blood work and then had trouble finding why she originally requested it only so she leaves to" look" for it and send an MA to give me my results and review when isn't even a Dr. To begin with and when I told him I wanted to speak with her to go over my results she said to make another appointment. Horrible.

First why write the review on someone you choose first off to start seeing. Ok the first appiontment went bad? GO SEE SOMEONE ELSE!! Don't be fake and smile at her when leaving her office saying thank you. Then off to your cell phone to plaster a bad reivew to .Then call the office to schedule your next appointment. Simple math-gonna write a bad review, dont like her GO ELSEWHERE list it in your review!! There is no doubt 3/4 of you are still her patients we all have our days. Yes including our Doctors trust and believe Edna and myself have bumped heads on more than one occassion but 20 or 25 years later i can walk into her confussed office on its worst day after a two hour wait. This Doctor can look me in the eyes and know what is going on with me. This Doctor knows me better than i know myself. I can talk to her about anything and know i am safe with her. I have walked into this Ladies office and told her this what i intend to do. To hear her safe ok why i explain. By the end of our… visit i was calm, collected, with a prescription for depression right after my six year passed. Guess what cri maybe it was your visit that she was late for two hours. Maybe her taking the time to understand listen to, look into what was best for treatments this lady is great she even looks into side effects trying to help you her patiant to the overall best if her personal abilitty which makes her Medical ability out of this world. I would rather wait two months and hours to see this Doctor then to go see a doctor that takes its scrip pads out in the first minute and in the second has written you four. Edna Herndez in my book 20to25 years later has been a blessing to myself and my now Grown Childen. If you value the person that takes the time for each patients needs then you have a great Dr. But if you want and value a woman that will approach, seek, locate, look into, and solve what ever you have going on then rewiew that. If all your gonna do is whaaa whaaaa and write drama filled negativity on your bad day head down to the drive through the counter is ticking Doctor that will never associate your face and name but gave you six scrips three in which treat some thing completely different be on your happy way!! In closing let this review stand out loud and clear Dr Edna is not only a woman of intergtity. A woman of self respect and gives respect to all her patients. A woman that places value upon eagency. A woman that is more diligent in her personal abilities assisting even homeless in the steets with her Medical Practice. Enda Hernadez is a ten as a woman i look up to. Edna Hernandez medical practices are of those Drs around her should seek, address, and practice themselve making them better at what they offer their patients!! So for those whinners that dont realize this office trains for medical students to Graduate medical billing, coding, nursing, etc... This office assist medical services on the streets to the needy or homeless and guess what this remarkable woman my Dr will still recognize your face with name should be credited with the respect she deserves top ten.

Horrible Doctor and staff, specially the guy...

This place is horrible. After my physical I had to wait for 3 week till my next appointment and when I got my results my doctor told me I was anemic and sent me to the hospital to emergencies. Once I was at the hospital three different doctors were all shocked that my doctor didn't take the time to call me and tell me my results instead of waiting three weeks.
