Dr. Edson Lenor Erkulvrawatr, MD

I’ve been a chronic pain patient for a long time. I’ve had numerous operations and tried just about every “procedure” imaginable, just to regain some semblance of a “normal” life. For several years prior to going to Southern Nevada Pain Center (SNPC), I’d become a shut-in. I was an invalid unable to care for myself, my family, walk, stand, or even leave my home. Finally, after years of suffering, Dr. Erkulvrawatr formulated an effective treatment plan for me by using opioids. The medications essentially gave me some of my life back. And while I was still in nonstop pain, I could occasionally participate in activities with my poor wife and kid. I’d been medically stabilized using the exact same dosages for several years. Recently however, and solely due to the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC’s) “recommendations” for opioid prescriptions, (which are admittedly based on biased information) Dr. Erkulvrawatr has been forcibly tapering me off THE very medications that gave me my… life back. Soon, and for no medically-evidenced rationale, I’ll once again be UNABLE to physically participate in life, walk, eventually not be able to leave my home again, etc. Which, I emphatically don’t agree with, nor feel is justified, nor even remotely warranted. More so, I feel that it’s extremely unethical for ANY physician to knowingly allow his patient to suffer more than is medically necessary, let alone be the initiator of such needless suffering. Unfortunately for me, I’m not in charge of anyone else’s ethics. There’s no medically-backed substantiation for any physician to intentionally de-stabilize a patient via forced tapering. Therefore, I can’t imagine what makes Dr. Erkulvrawatr think it’s just fine-and-dandy to do it to me. I’ve never failed any of the hundreds of drug tests I’ve willingly submitted too. I’ve never taken any medicine except exactly as prescribed and I’ve never ran out of any medicine early. I’ve been blood / urine tested every single month for years. Which is just fine-and-dandy with me because I prefer having at least a chance at a semblance of a life rather than to go back to where I was. Regardless, it has become painfully obvious that Dr. Erkulvrawatr is no longer even remotely concerned with my already limited quality-of-life. He is now much more concerned with with some biased, cooked-up government recommendations, that have nothing whatsoever to do with me nor the conditions I suffer from. More so, ethical physicians don’t knowingly allow their patients to become medically un-stabilized, nor would any ethical physician EVER instigate such a dangerous thing for any of their patients. Also, since Dr. Erkulvrawatr is no longer willing and/or able to properly practice contemporary pain management, he should (be legally required to) refer his patients to a physician who will treat them based on modern medical evidence, not biased government recommendations, which were incidentally directed at “opioid naïve” patients only. Consequently, in consideration of this current situation / information, I would strongly recommend that anyone looking for a reliable, ethical pain management physician to look elsewhere. Because Dr. Edson Erkulvrawatr and his “team” of FORMER pain physicians at Southern Nevada Pain Center are either unable to or unwilling to effectively medically treat their patients.

dr e, 2 b short & 2 the point, 'does not panic' & tell u what he cant do, he evaluates ur condition & circumstances as 2 why u r n his office & gives u a plan as 2 what he can do. h'l stick by his treatment & u will see progress. he also is 1 of the finest human beings i've ever met. keep up what ur doing & how u do it. ur a fine physician & run a great office n pahrump w/a great staff.......no need 2 change a thing. william jackson pahrump

I have 4 discs in lumbar spine, 3 in cervical spine and have developed a problem in both shoulders - with my right arm virtually unusable. The bicep muscle in right arm has atrophied, and with multiple bulges and herniated discs, after 2 years treating with meds as I am not a surgical candidate, out of nowhere, Dr. E., has become scared to death to write the prescriptions I have been on for several years. I am in constant chronic pain, and bc of the number of levels involved, am not a candidate for surgery. I have been treated with meds for years - the only thing that allows me to function. Often I am unable to move due to back and neck pain, rt arm hangs like a stroke victim. When my PA left, I got stuck with Dr. E., and all of a sudden, scared by all this nonsense re opiod epidemic, he will no longer write scripts, and says there is a "difference of opinion re future treatment;" YEA, HE NO LONGER WANTS TO WRITE FOR PAIN MEDS. When injections only help for a limited time, and when… surgery is not an option - when there were no problems with the PA I saw every visit now gone .. Dr E simply refused to treat anymore. It is not only bad practice, but bad medicine and a violation of his oath, to take someone who never abuses meds, always takes as prescribed, and cuts the patient loose saying he won't prescribe any longer ... if a chronic paid pt who is not a candidate for surgery can no longer be treated with meds by a pain mgmt specialist what else is there. If you are on meds, and cannot get surgery for whatever reason, don't go to Dr E at SNPC - he's too afraid of being looked at by the authorities and the PROBLEMS IT WILL CAUSE HIM .... WHAT ABOUT YOUR CHRONIC PAIN PATIENTS DOC? I presume they have to support the large surgery center they are building and can't do that by writing prescriptions for pain meds. When you have a Pt with NO OTHER OPTION, AND YOU ARE TOO CONCERNED FOR YOUR OWN HIDE WHAT ARE CHRONIC PAIN PTS TO DO, WHEN PAIN MGMT SPECIALISTS WILL NO LONGER WRITE PRESCRIPTIONS FOR ANALGESIC PAIN MEDS ...... SKIP THE TRIP TO SEE THIS DOC IT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. WRITE YOUR SENATORS, CONGRESSMEN - AS YOU HAVE TO BE A CANCER OR HOSPICE PT BEFORE HE WILL WRITE FOR PAIN MEDS

I have referred my family and friends to him. He has worked with me to keep me walking and having a quality of life I would not otherwise have and for that I am extremely appreciative.

i have seen tai pham pa-c for many years, he has done a fabolous job, he is an amazing provider, highly recommend this provider.

Easy in and out. Never any issues. Drs always listen, care, and try to resolve problems.

He insulted me because I am on Medicaid. He was rude, arrogant, rough with his examination and didn't have all the reports he needed to proceed with a suggestion for therapy. He is horrible! Will NEVER see him again!
