Dr. Eduardo F Borges, MD

I asked Dr. Borges for help. He arranged immediate attention from a local specialist who recognized that I had a life threatening condition. I had dialysis and ICU stay. I owe my life to Dr. Borges.

I don't understand these negative comments. I found Dr Borges to be personable and caring allowing all the time I needed to explain my symptoms and for him to diagnose me in a caring manor! R. Petrillo

I am writing this while my roommate is in the ER so he can see a real Dr. Dr. Borges is the staff MD at Executive Recovery in Stuart, FL. This is the worst Dr. I have ever have ever met in my life. He makes military Dr.'s look awesome. He had the wrong patients information pulled up and was yelling at me saying a resting heart rate of 120 bpm was normal. I told him that was actually in the aerobic zone and he asked if I was an athlete. He then started rattling off numbers and I pointed out that was my blood pressure, not my heart rate, which was the reason for my visit. He then put down his phone and stopped texting, only to say excuse me I have to take a call. A grown man, who is a M.D. took a phone call from his MOTHER in he middle of an appointment! He finally asked what I wanted, and he basically let me write my own prescription. I have never yelled and cussed at a Dr. before now. He is a real piece of work. There is a reason this Dr. works in a rehab… facility, and it's because the only way people will go to him is when forced. I have lost 15 lbs in the two weeks I have been here, basically because I have been in the aerobic zone for over two weeks....He even had the gall to tell me I was raising my heartbeat on purpose. Wow Total piece of crap and is a disgrace to his profession. You don't have to worry about seeing him unless you end up in rehab. It's the only way he can get patients. Keep that in mind before choosing the Lukens Institute. This is the guy they think is going to keep everyone healthy.

Horrible Neurologist. My dog can do a better job.....

He is the most kind caring Dr, I have ever been. Spent time to talk to me and explain things when I didn't understand them. He has been my Dr. for 15 yrs. and I could never explain how much he has helped me. Dr, Borges will find a way to help you. I was very sick, and he kept trying till there was a way to help me. Every other Dr. just gave be a pill and sent me on my way and let me stay sick. I can never be cured forever ,but, I can now like a life like everyone else.

He seems qualified enough but has no compassion. He is a cold with horrible bedside manner and borders on rude. He is doctor that will not to take time to evaluate the "whole picture" but rather rushes the session. If you are looking for any kind of guidance for a loved-one' s condition then you are out of luck. Recently I called to make a follow up appt. and the staff informed me that they were not making appts. as he was closing the office for like 6 mths.-what!? I was never notified which I would imagine would be the proper thing to do so that his patients could find another doctor! Completely unacceptable! But I am not surprised as his patients apparently get no consideration. Physicians whom practice in this fashion create the lack of trust in the field..what a shame.

He's unprofessional, condescending, and unsympathetic. When I went to pick up my prescription over the weekend, I couldnâ??t, he denied refilling my prescription because I missed an appointment. When I went to see him in his office he stated the symptoms I felt when skipping doses are â??all in my head and I should seriously think about scheduling an appointment with a psychiatrist. â?? Also, told me never to come back and find another neurologist. Never in my life have I ever been disrespected in this manner. I would NEVER recommend anyone to see him. In order to submit this review I had to leave a 1 star rating. I would of given him ZERO stars for patient care!

He's VERY un professional and CLEARLY does not care about his patients. EVERY appointment I had with this man he had to pull out his phone to look up medications as if he knew nothing in his practice! I am an epileptic struggling with an unknown cause since age 1 having been to the Ronald McDonald house and all! I can say this man is one of the worst I have ever been too. I even had to argue with him about the medicine I take not once but THREE times! He was convinced they did not make a 300mg tab of Lamictal XR as he pulled his phone out and could not find it! I had to call my pharmacist to prove to him this pill exist and is in my pill box! Ridiculous. And now I'm pregnant WITH A PRESCRIPTION FROM MY OB for a headache pill called Fioricet which apparently shows up in a drug test that I was un aware of... So I had to make an ER visit one night feeling like I was going to seize and this drug showed up. Now I'm in the middle of treatment with this man, waiting on bloodwork and all, and… he decided to send me a letter in the mail stating he will no longer treat me because I'm taking "unknown drugs" and endangering my fetus! So now I sit, 5 months pregnant, having seizures with no doctor. All because he had no idea what he was doing! Do not go to this man and expect a REAL doctor who cares. I'm done with him after this, the whole "pulling out his phone for everything" was enough. This just blew it over the top! I pray no other female/mom has to go through this! Thanks doctor Borges for your big headedness!!

My husband has been having severe migraines and we went to this individual for treatment. By far the rudest and most consdensing doctor we have ever been to. Does not listen to patients concerns must less the significant other or spouse. When I was speaking to him about my husband's reactions to a myriad of prescriptions, he told me to stop being a "mother hen". Also after he examined my husband (btw same examination my gp gave my husband he told me that my husband would live. How condensing and totally lacking of understanding and so full of himself. We will not ever go to this individual again and will make sure that we will not reccomend this man if anyone needs a neuroligist.

Dr. Borges is rude, did not listen to anything I had to say, kept talking over me. Told me that the bad reaction I had to the medication he perscribed while I was in the hospital was "all in my head." This man should not be a doctor!! I would not recommend him to anyone. He must have bought his bedside manner and his license on the internet for $49.00. Says hes pain management and told me to go to the gym.
