I have been seeing Dr. Cepeda and many years and I am quite pleased with the care that he has provided me. I am doing much better on medication to help with my gout/arthritis. He is always attention, caring, listens , ask questions and friendly. His staff are excellent and they get you in and out promptly. Oh, and you can get your blood drawn on site instead of having to go to another location which makes it even better. I am very grateful to him and his staff. A+ in my books. Stacy Johnson RN

After reading negative reviews about this doctor I was hesitant to schedule a first time visit. However, my primary care doctor assured me that he was a good doctor and not to pay too much attention to reviews. I left his office this morning very discouraged and humiliated. He lacks compassion and understanding for his patients. His demeanor and way that he communicated with me made me feel worse emotionally than I felt physically when I left his office. Stay AWAY from this doctor.

When I went to see Dr. Cepeda I was in the middle of Cytoxan chemo therapy and a high dose of steroids to treat lupus nephritis. He told me that my joint pain wasn't related to lupus because "Cytoxan and prednisone are good medicine for joint pain." He offered no explanation to where he thought my joint pain could be coming from. When I told my renal doctor about this, I got raised eyebrows and was told that Cytoxan CAUSES joint pain. Its been months since chemo and steroids and im still in pain. I tried to see another doctor from the Austin Diagnostic Clinic and was refused service because it is against their policies to refer patients to other doctors in their circle of care. What a joke of a healthcare facility.

Dr Cepeda has been my physician for over 6 years. I have gone through a lot of medical problems and he has always been there even though he might not have been the treating physician. I have recently moved to the Corpus area and I will take a day off work and make the drive so that I am able to keep him. I would recommend him to anyone that might need a Rheumatologist.

I really appreciated how much time Doctor Cepeda took to talk to me about my ankles. I had been to a number of specialists, and this was the first time I really understood what was going on. He also told me about my treatment options as well as possible side effects, which allowed me to make an informed choice. Highly recommended.

Dr Cepeda is the best doctor I have been to. I have Systemic Lupus and he has been treating me since 2008. I would recommend him to anyone with an autoimmune disease. He is very knowledgable, up to date and not to afraid to switch treatments if something is not working. His staff is absolutely wonderful and his nurse is very easy to talk to and quick to help.
