Dr. Eduardo Antonio Garcia, MD

I've had Dr. Eduardo Garcia for almost 25 years. He's kind, accessible, and scrupulous. His office is very clean, as well as well as his consultation rooms. The medical assistants are, likewise, very kind, friendly, and welcoming. On the downside, Dr. Garcia is a bit careless in his practice. There's been times when medical conditions cry for specialists to be seen and he refuses to write up a referral. Same applies for procedures such as x-rays, MRIs, etc. There are also times when his prognosis' and medical advisings issued are contradicting of different visits. I wonder sometimes if it's because his method is all hand written. It's more work to refer back to what he said in the past. When I go see him, he always comes in lugging around my huge medical records file, the size of two encyclopedias. My family goes to see him. I don't know if it's because he has a lot of confidence in us, but when he gives his advisings he's very direct and frank. His receptionists… are friendly and courteous in person. However, I've noticed that they need more courtesy and etiquette over the phone. They don't use sorry, thank you, please, etc. I think they need more phone skills. In spite of this, we still see him because we have esteem for him and he's in our insurances' network of physicians.

I was looking for a new physician, I was in a great deal of pain. I was referred by my insurance. I had other choices. I got my appointment the very next day, in the a.m. like I prefer. The staff is great, attentive and pleasant. I expected to be there at least a few hours, first time visit, extra paperwork, etc. After a pleasant yet business manner I have to say I'm very pleased and HAPPY I made this choice. Dr. Garcia is a very good physician that listens.

My daughter absolutely loves this doctor. She has called him with concerns and the staff listen and relay the information to the doctor he immediately has returned the call back. He addresses the issues and takes his time with her. He also takes care of my grand daughter and is very caring.
