Dr. Eduardo Garcia, MD

Dr. Garcia is a great neurologist. He is definitely not rude or self centered as commented here. I've been seen at his practice over ten years and is the only doctor to figure me out with all my problems. I initially came to him for migraines and has been key for my mental and physical health. His office staff is very busy and you have to be patient sometimes because you might have to wait a bit. He does take his time to see patients. That's the only negative about his practice but I won't deduct that from my review because it's worth going to see him

If you want a neurologist who is self-centered, uncaring, unwilling to share information, disrespectful, unwilling to listen to you, unwilling to admit his errors, and totally lacking in empathy, then this is the guy for you...

If I could give Dr. Garcia a -5 stars, I would. I had a very unpleasant experience with him as the on-call doctor. He was offensively rude to me, as if I was bothering him. I asked him for a referral and he said “I don’t do that for a living”! He is a neurologist that perpetuates the stereotype of neurologists notoriously having zero bedside manner. I feel sorry for his patients.

This doctor deserves the highest rating without any hesitation. Anything less must imply a reflection of characteristics of a difficult patient, not the highly regarded qualifications and talent of the doctor. I have been enduring many years with a tremor worsening over time, never before diagnosed and therefore unable to resolve. Dr. Garcia was able to determine within a first visit, and gave a thorough, helpful, and highly coherent explanation of the condition, as well as advice and perscription to alleviate symptoms. I already have experienced a dramatic improvement, and can honestly say Dr. Garcia has effected a fantastic change to my life. He absolutely was accurate in his assessment and I am so very thankful.

I saw Dr. Garcia four times and while he was certainly competent, he left much to be desired. He seemed unsympathetic to my condition and suffering. He had a bumper sticker in his office that said "I love someone with epilepsy" or something like that. Perhaps you have to have certain conditions for him to become very invested in your case. I would not recommend him to any of my family or friends.

I approached my appointment with some trepidation based on the previous reviews. However, I personally found the absolute opposite of many of the comments. Let me get the negative out of the way first: assume your appointment -unless the first of the day -will be late. My own appointment was over an hour late. When I did meet Dr Garcia, he apologized for the lateness (makes a difference). And his office staff were very courteous too (again from previous reviews I was ready to do battle). He was extremely professional and thorough. He did not order unnecessary tests and reviewed previous scans I had. He took his time to listen to me -and I suspect this could be one of the causes of appointments running late.... Would you like a doctor who listens and be seen late, or a doctor who is on time but isn't really listening to you? Anyway, I was very impressed, and have a follow up. I'll be sticking with Dr Garcia. If you read this review, the one thing I can say is don't be… too swayed by negative reviews, sometimes the best thing to do is to try yourself.

I had a positive appointment with Dr. Garcia who addressed all my concerns and was very attentive and caring. After going home he called me after hours after 6PM since he was curious about a sympton that I mentioned- he had investigated all afternoon after I had left and gave me additional information that was critical to solving my hearing problem.

My husband who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s is a new patient of Dr. Garcia’s and I couldn’t ask for a more attentive Doctor. He engaged with my husband , took time to get to know him, listened to and addressed our concerns, and did a very in depth exam. We have been to several neurologists and Dr. Garcia was by Far the most thorough!

Dr. Garcia is rude toward his patients and treats them as if they're lab experiments. He orders one test after another, makes one referral after another to other doctors, and prescribes one medicine after another in a haphazard way until he finds something that works. Doesn't appear to be very competent. Gets really irritated if you question him about a treatment or diagnosis he's made. I wouldn't recommend him.
