Dr. Garcia is triple board certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Medical Specialties in Anesthesiology and Pain Management. Though he practices in a private setting, he is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Additionally, he is involved in physician proctoring for advanced interventional pain management techniques. Dr. Garcia partnered with Dr. Joseph T. Alvarez in 2001 to found Space City Pain Specialists, a new paradigm in the treatment of chronic pain. Dr. Garcia speaks Spanish fluently.

I've been going to Dr. Garcia now for 24 years. In the beginning I went to him for identification of my illness. I had been to Memorial Hermann, Methodist, St. John and MDAnderson with no luck. Needless to say I had so many test done on me I was so frustrated. Once I explained all my problems and issues; again came the testing. However, at this time Dr. Garcia explained in lay man's terms all the test and why he was having these done. He finally identified my illness as CRPS or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.! No had never heard of it and could hardly say it! He was so thorough as well as his office staff that my disability was approved the first time sent into the government. If you a pain doctor that is confident, knowledgeable, great bedside manner, thorough and someone who really cares for his patients, he's the one for you! He is the best doctor I've ever gone to! Thank you Dr. Garcia.

I have been going to Dr Garcia for twenty years and he is the best Pain and Management Doctor. I could not walk go and now I can walk without assistance. If you are in pain don’t suffer go see him today

Well nurses are nice..what a shock..but Garcia is a vain psychopath that needs to have his medical license removed ...plz dont have any procedures with him...he will mess you up...trust me but if he does record the conversation because he fabricates lies big time ...he needs to be sue him but the internet will ruin all bad doctors. They act like they are won’t ever develop anything ..but ine day they will feel great pain and see who helps them. I hope they suffer like they did too my spouse. See you in court you scum bag.

Sent me a letter a few days before my appt and said he did not want to be my dr anymore. Left me with no pain meds to control my pain. Had to go thru withdraws and laying here suffering because it take time to find a new pain dr. Please don’t go to this loser. He will screw you somehow.

Dr. Garcia is outstanding, he takes the time to listen and he’s always looking for solutions to improve my health. I drive 5 hours every 3 months to see him.
