Dr. Nevarrez has been our family Dr. for 20 years. He has kept my wife and I healthy and has always been a very caring person towards us. This is a great Dr. and would recommend him to anyone. Jim House

I have been going to this doctor for a pretty long time now. Most every time it has been a usual doctors visit because I’ve never had many issues. My digestive system has been pretty damaged and I’ve even let them know it has put me in the hospital recently. I made an appointment (2 weeks out being the closest appointment) and they canceled on me due to “the doctors being out that day” three days before my appointment. I rescheduled only to have them do the same exact thing. This doctor is absolutely terrible and god forbid it be a serious condition when I finally get checked out. Stay far away from him. He is not worth your money nor your time.

It’s a long story but what he has done to me physically and emotionally is unforgivable. I went to his office four times with a sprained ankle and each time I went he asked me what happened. This was in three months time, so I said your kidding me, i needed a referral for a surgeon and instead of listening to me or looking at my chart he sent a referral that said I have a torn ligament, well that wasn’t the problem and the surgeon said he only did traumas, so I had to find a surgeon in Orlando who could do the surgery, this is five months after my first visit to dr. Nervarez. Surgery was in feb and dr nervarez dropped me cause I was told that I caused disrupted behavior. Never did I do that to him. Not trying to cause a problem but it really hurt me cause he is the the one that didn’t care and I was kicked out of health first. Want nothing to do with with health first and I’m sure I’m not done with them

I met Dr. Nevarez-Carrillo to discuss a medical problem for which I needed a referral. I had been without a primary care physician for over four years and was happy to have finally found a doctor with a good reputation who was accepting new patients. Made an appointment and spoke with him for just a few minutes. He referred me to a couple specialists, one for my problem, and another due to my family history. Unbeknownst to me, he coded my visit with him as well as both the other appointments "preventative". My insurance does not cover preventative care but they do cover colonoscopies when you have blood in your stool. So when I discovered the coding error I called his office and asked for my visit with him as well as the colonoscopy to be re-coded as "diagnostic" so my insurance would cover some of the cost. I did not ask to have the family history appointment re-coded because it made sense that would be preventative. Office staff (who were sympathetic and polite) subsequently informed… me that he refused to change the coding and had dropped me as a patient.

I have been seeing him since his practice opened in mima facility. I truly enjoyed my dr visists with him. I had an MRI on my brain and found out something was wrong in waiting for a referral to a nuerologist I found out the person they were sending me to couldn't help me and if it wasn't for me being pro active on my treatment I would have never have known that. I called very upset this is my brain we are talking about I was crying and upset when I found out they couldn't see me til the 24 of dec to tell me what was wrong with my brain I was hysterical when I called and i'm sure i said cuss words but not directly at anyone just out of being scared and feeling left in the dark. Well his nurse cancelled me as a patient even after I explained everything. this office does not care about people at all. I will never go to the mima office again they like to keep all there dr's in one building when they could have sent me to others that could have seen me sooner. I am very sad because I… truley loved my dr.
