Dr. Eduardo Luis Ricaurte, MD

Dr. Ricaurte was a traveling OB that ended up at my OB office. I had specifically chosen that practice for a woman doctor due to fear of males. Dr. Ricaurte gained my trust and we bonded over both being from Iowa. When I was induced and I started having complications he was quick and decisive and got me down to have an emergency C-section. He saved my son and helped me conquer my fear of male doctors. I am forever grateful that he was the one who delivered my son. Thank you

I was 16 years old and pregnant with my first child. I delivered her at 17 years old not knowing the worst could happen. I had placental abruption and was bleeding horribly. My baby wasn’t getting oxygen and I had to have an emergency C-section. Dr. Ricaurte saved both of our lives that night. I’m so grateful that my first daughter is alive thanks to him. I became pregnant again only after my daughter was 9 months old. Dr.Ricaurte never judged me for being a teen mom. I was so scared for my second c section after my traumatic first one. It was planned, but the biggest memory I have is him hugging and calming me while I got my epidural. I even joked around for him to please make my scar look pretty. Which my scar looks amazing even after having a 3rd c section. I was so sad he couldn’t deliver my third because he left the quad cities, but I trust this man with my life. He knows what he’s doing and was the most caring and compassionate doctor I could’ve asked for. Not even the doctor who… delivered my third who was a woman was nearly as knowledgeable or caring.

I am a phyician myself. He delivered my children with care and compassion. Really miss the fact that he moved away! U are very lucky to have him with you. The people that put negative comments, sorry that this happened to you. Sometimes the doctor can be highly skilled and educated however something just doesn’t work out. Thank God you had him to care for you and that u are still here on this beautiful earth with us!????

Awesome. Knew exactly what he was doing at all times. He delivered my kids and gave my hysterectomy!!

Best doctor I've ever had

This doctor saved my life.

I'm a former patient of his and I would like to let everyone know that I had the worst experience of my life and almost died because of his incompetence I had to have 2 surgeries in 17 days due to him I would have to beg you for your own health to not go to him that's all I'm saying 2 surgeries and months in and out of the hospital with a butcherd stomach......

I went to see Dr. Ricaurte after other doctors had been unable to diagnose my problem for 2 years. He diagnosed the issue immediately, tried a newer, less invasive treatment first & when that didn't entirely resolve the issue, he performed the traditional surgery to permanently fix it. I found him to be very gentle and caring. My husband even liked him. I would never see another doctor for "female" troubles.

My wife is a patient of his, he has repeatedly proven his lack of caring over and over. Everything about his personality tells you how little he actually cares about anyone, if he is married I would be rather surprised. I don't imagine he has the capability to care about anyone or anything. Not to mention his attitude to any and all healthcare is that out of the 1940's, he needs to wake up and realize the world has changed in the last 70 years and he may want to realize that. Do not go to him, unless your taking someone there you do not care about....
