I was born in Mexico, in the beautiful city of Guadalajara. My parents were both immigrants from Mexico. I was fortunate to be raised by two loving parents with a strong work ethic who stressed the importance of an education. I grew up my entire life in California, graduated from Stanford University and stayed in California for medical school. I then proceeded to Texas for residency training.
