Eduardo Vega Pizarro, MD

After a large cyst on her liver became inflamed, back in November, My Mom was transported to St. Elizabeth's Hospital, and was recommended to Dr. Vega for Surgery. Local Doctors and facilities somehow missed or underestimated the Cyst, until the ER attending caught it and sent us to St. E's. Dr. Vega was very compassionate, professional, and thorough. Dr. Vega carefully navigated staff and OR shortages, while selecting an ideal time to perform the operation. The minimally invasive procedure was successful and resulted in limited discomfort. In fact, My Mom was discharged from the Hospital the day after Surgery. My Mom arrived home one week prior to Thanksgiving- before surgery she jokingly mentioned that she usually hosts a large dinner, and Dr. Vega promised that he would have her ready to host this year, and sure enough, with a little help from her family and friends, she hosted a wonderful dinner. We were all very thankful to Dr. Vega for his amazing work.
