Dr. Eduardo Vides, MD

Seems like an intelligent and thorough provider, though it is clear to me based on labs ordered and visit requirements he is looking to collect every dollar he can regardless of what makes clinical sense.

He will refer you to a different dr. nearly every time you visit his office. Doesnt treat you if he can refer you to another dr. He is little more than a referral corodinator.

It seems when I gave him my symtoms he referred to his computer. I can access WebMD myself thankyou. He does not show any compasion or understand pain and how deplorable the affect is to one with acute and chronic pain. I was under his care nearly four years and suffered all through this time. Once I was forced to drive 20 miles each way to pick up a prescription for nine pain pills. Thank goodness he changed practices twice in that time period. The last I will ever see of him.

Very annoyed and frustrated with the visit I had with this doctor. I was just trying to change locations to get my meds filled closer to home since I had moved. Waited over an hour to be called into a room, then Waited another 25 mins for him to come into the room. He spent a total of 15 mins in the room and pretty much told me that He doesn’t prescribe those medications so I need to see another doctor. Even though he had all my medical history and could see I have been on these meds long term. He is referring me to another doctor now. Waste of complete time! I am just going to make the long drive to my old doctor than deal with someone like this. He was rushed, and seemed very judge mental. Will never go back! I never write reviews but this warranted me saying something.

He deserves to suffer excruciating pain and be told he will just have to live with it so he can understand what he puts his patients thru. He apparently was not required to take the same Hippocratic oath that other docs are?! I am leaving the whole Tuality OHSU group due to the horrific inhumane treatment I received at this doctor’s hands.

Dr Vides is helping me manage several difficult issues. He carefully listens and clearly explains what we need to do next. Excellent communicator.

Worst doctor I have seen. No compassion or level of caring or concern. I was rushed, not listened to, and disregarded even though I was rear ended by a semi truck. He prescribed an out of date muscle relaxant intended for patients with MS or cerebral palsy and when I asked how to treat extreme pain (I am unable to even really walk) he told me he "doesn't prescribe opiates". (A fact denied by his nurse). Ok, what are my alternatives? None. And he is getting paid for this visit?? I hope this is not what OHSU considers a standard of care.

Got there three minutes late for my appointment and he refused to see me. It was right before lunch and I assume he didn’t want to be late to eat. I won’t be back. Horrible customer service and disregard for patients.

Dr Vides is such a caring companionate doctor. He is my mother's doctor and she suffers from Alzheimer's. He is so good, through and loving to her. He makes her feel like she is more than just another patient. He always has plenty of time to explain everything to her. I would recommend Dr Vides to anyone!
